Title: Great for a small yard
Review: I have a very small front yard, and my lawn is about the size of two postage stamps. Trying to make ends meet, I take care of it myself. This little trimmer is exactly what I need to help me get the job done. It's not huge and the handle telescopes so doesn't take up a lot of space in my garage and it's lightweight to use. The plastic blade that came with it is virtually useless, it did cut some stuff,, but wore out rather quickly, but the metal blades are a beast. Having 2 batteries is nice, so you don't run out of juice mid job. The guard is a little on the small side, in my opinion. It did not come with any directions or instructions, as I find so many things do not these days, so referred back to Amazon for pictures. That's just annoying more than a problem. All in all, a great tool to have if you have a small yard.

Title: Powerful and versatile
Review: This is a very powerful unit. It comes with two batteries and I have yet to come close to exhausting even one. It comes with 3 kinds of blades--several plastic propeller-type (for grass); one metal propeller-type (for hedges); and two metal circular-saw blades (presumably for heavier hedges, though I haven't actually had to use them). The package also includes safety googles, work-gloves and a charger. Did I say it was powerful? No kidding. Taking about kids--this is not for them. It is a serious adult tool, and like all such tools it must be used with caution. Be sure to use the safety goggles and wear shoes (not sandals or slip-ons). And respect the powerful tool to avoid harm to yourself, others and property. But when used by an ordinary adult exercising normal caution, it can be very, very helpful in keeping your garden neatly trimmed.
