Review: This sticks works a lot better than some stuff I have bought in stores. It doesn’t just break off constantly. I’m using it in my Dewalt 20v weed trimmer. It’s very stiff and solid material. Worked for my needs and a lot of line for the price!

Title: Durable and cuts nicely
Review: I watched a few video reviews and many of them really liked this line, so I figured I'd give it a try. I used it the other day for the first time. Switched from same thickness cheaper round green line. This cut through the grass much cleaner and was much sturdier when edging on pavement/stone. I didn't have to let out more line nearly as often as with the cheaper stuff. I will definitely buy again, but probably won't need to for quite a while given its durability.

Title: Stellar!
Review: Recently, I picked up a new Stihl FS 111 R for home trimming and edging. Upon the first use, I found the .095 orange Stihl line easily broke off at the head when edging my driveway, so I grabbed some .105 Stihl CF3 and found it to be good enough, durable, didn't break off at the head but it didn't seem to grip as well or cut as cleanly. Bought both the Black Diamond and CF3 in .095, w/the expectation the BD wouldn't be as durable, so planned to spool both. Having tried the BD first, there's nothing to not like about it. I don't have a big yard but it's a mixed bag w/a bulkhead, concrete foundation, aluminum fence, some trees and poles to edge against. The BD did it all exceptionally well compared to anything I've used previously and w/o the need to bump the line even one time. It's quieter, requires less revs, cuts effortlessly and is more than durable enough for my needs. Just wish I'd expected it to be this good before purchasing the second spool of CF3. Easy to see why it's so popular!

Title: Great string if your trimmer can handle it
Review: I loved this string in my Stihl trimmer. When I switched to an Echo trimmer - which has a smaller engine - it had trouble lugging this string around. What makes this string great is the very aggressive cutting surface, or sharp edges, whatever you want to call it. But those edges also cause a lot of air turbulence, which you can hear when using it. Almost like a box fan. That was all fine with the Stihl trimmer, but the Echo with the smaller engine just lugged down and had trouble hitting max rpm. That's not the string's fault at all. If you have a decently powered trimmer this is the best string you can buy. If you have a smaller trimmer or even an electric, don't bother.

Title: Tough material
Review: This trimmer string seems to last longer and is more durable than others. The thickness and stiffness of the string help make it last. It was definitely a good price for the amount of string that I got. It is easy to install in my weed trimmer too.
