Nature's MACE was born from a father-son partnership, making products out of our home's two-car garage.

After leaving his career in the biochemical industry, and with Nicholas just graduating high school, the duo set out to solve a growing problem in our country.

Is it safe for use around pets and people?

Yes. Our products are plant-based and generally safe for wildlife, humans, and pets, and on almost any surface. Please use responsibly, always test on a small area to begin. Always follow directions for the best results.

Should I Use Granular or Liquid?

The granular repellents are best for protecting precise areas and for lower-level plant foliage. The granular is easiest to use, but the liquids tend to work better. The liquids are best for larger areas, blanket spraying, and for protecting taller plants.

Title: It WORKS!
Review: Finally I found something to keep the neighbors cats from pooping on my porch. Every single time I was gone I would come home and find them on my porch and poo remnants all over.. and I am very very happy to say that this stuff worked immediately! They do not come on my porch at all anymore!

Title: Didn't Work Worth a Hoot
Review: I bought this product because we have a cat that keeps coming through our property and marking our vehicles (especially mine!). I spread some of the product around the driveway, and in front of my car (the cat's favorite place to mark). The second day after doing that, I watched the cat on our security camera as he walked right across the product, and marked my car! So, after cleaning off the front of my car, I put even more of the product out. The next night...same thing! Needless to say, I pretty much lost faith in the product, swept it off the driveway, and poured the rest of it out on the other side of the driveway. I just got finished watching that cat walk right through what I poured out, and through the driveway like it was nothing.I think that it may work better on people instead of cats, because the mix of smells this product has is absolutely disgusting! I tried to work out in my garage after spreading it out on the driveway, and i wanted to puke! It took a couple of days before I was able to deal with the smell.Overall, I would not recommend wasting your money on this product. I'm actually going to try an ultrasonic animal repeller. I really hope it works, so I don't have to go with the "nuclear option."2/11/21 update - As if what I wrote above isn't bad enough...I washed my car today, and got the stuff that I poured out beside my driveway wet. It smelled like I was standing in the middle of a chickenhouse. Now, for those of you who don't know what a chickenhouse smells like...trust me, you don't want to know!!! Sadly, I won't be able to get rid of what is spread out without completely digging out the areas and disposing of it. Gee, can't wait until it rains!

Title: Not the product for my yard
Review: My beagle goes crazy in our fenced in yard and we thought it was neighborhood wandering cats he was smelling. I tried one 6# bag of Cat Mace as ordered. I used it all in a thin line around the house and out to the front gate where the cats of course can jump over. The smell wasn't that bad but a week or so later I see a line of gold dying grass wherever I sprinkled the Mace. I read the instructions, didn't use as much as suggested and didn't read about effects on lawns. Meantime our beagle still goes wild outside because he is a scent dog! I love him nose and all. My review is my experience so I hope the product will be useful to others.

Title: You need to use a lot of the product.
Review: I made several satches of the product because I don't want the neighbor cat marking my porch and harassing my indoor kitties. I had the porch lined and hefty satches on each side of the front door. I opened the front door to let my kitties enjoy the cooler air. When I came back into the room, that jerk neighbor cat was laying on the door mat looking at me like I was supposed to rub his belly! I had to make double the satches and place them about every 12 inches down my porch. I haven't seen him since. I have noticed that if the breeze changes and my own kitty smells it, he gags. It does work. You just have to use it liberally.

Title: DOES NOT WORK , USELESS
Review: This product is useless do not waste your money . I literally spread a good pile if it by my front door where cats have been terrorizing us and our house and I was about 20 feet away spreading some down the front and by our other door and one of the cats was literally laying in it where I placed the first half a bag flapping its tail giving me that evil look , like “really lady u think this is gonna stop me”. And I mean literally laying right in, not beside it,, but right in it. Totally useless product, don’t waste your cash. It’s really aggravating people can sell such useless product and rip people off of their hard earned dollars. I’d give zero stars and minus some more if it would let me.
