There are a million and one reasons why I shouldn’t fall for my BFF’s twin... Too bad love isn’t reasonable.
For years, I've successfully hidden my crush on Zane--my best friend's ultra grumpy, ultra hot twin brother.
But now that he's hired me to fix a tech glitch for his startup, I'm having trouble keeping the feels under wraps.
I SHOULD just keep my head down and do my job like a good employee.
I should NOT go on the investor's weekend that will keep me up close and personal with Zane.
Like ... couple's massage kind of personal.
I've got a lot on the line: my friendship, my job, and my stupid little heart that just won't stop beating for him.
But I've never met a risk I didn't like to face head on. Here goes nothing! (Or, maybe, here goes everything...)
Falling for Your Best Friend’s Twin is a laugh-out-loud, closed door romcom.

Title: Hilarious Steamy Clean Rom Com
Review: Falling For Your Best Friendâs Twin is a hilarious clean contemporary romance with lots of chemistry.I love Abbie and her spunky personality! I love that sheâs a total nerd and she doesnât let people tell her what to do or who to be. I really admire that she does her best not to compare herself to others or think about how people will judge her. Sheâs just herself, wholly and unabashedly. Then there is Zane. Oh Zane. Such a swoony guy! I love that heâs struggling to move on from his own past struggles and how Abbie is able to show him how to let go and move on and just live life to the fullest.I loved all the incredibly awkward moments in this book! And I love that those awkward moments help bring Zane and Abbie together rather than push them apart.I also loved the steamy kisses. This book is definitely steamier than the books I typically read, but I appreciate that it was still clean. There were a handful of sexual innuendos but there was no sex on the page.Overall this was a very enjoyable read and Iâm looking forward to reading the rest of the love cliches series! If you like contemporary rom coms, strong female leads, hilariously awkward situations, and lots of chemistry between main characters, this book is definitely for you!

Title: Fun clean read with the perfect touch of romance, kept me in stitches
Review: One of the reasons that I loved reading Falling for My Best Friendâs Twin by Emma St. Clair was the feeling that this hilarious story could happen to someone I know and love. Yes, itâs still got the ridiculous tropes that we all live for; but theyâre captured in a way that still connects the story to the reader in a very realistic way.For example, the carefully tended backstories of both Zane & Abby are so well-done they moved me to tears. They compliment the characterâs strengths and weaknesses so beautifully without pulling the reader from the overall comedic tone of the story. And they touched on some difficult topics that definitely should be discussed more oftenâ¦in all kinds of literature. But letâs be honest, the best part of this story (aside from that super awesome kissing-in-a-closet scene) is the romance. Itâs perfectly clean with a firm closed door policy, but it still has enough fun stuff to make a more innocent reader blush. And aside from the physical aspects, the development of these two characters through their dialogue and inner thoughts is absolutely hysterical. Plus, as an NCIS fan, I love the little pop culture nods.So if you want a fun clean read thatâll keep you laughing the whole time, I highly recommend checking out this first book in the Love Cliches series by Emma St. Clair!

Title: Funny read with unresolved issues
Review: My Rating System5 stars--WOW4 stars--would read again3 stars--was good, won't read again2 stars--read it, but didn't enjoy it1 star--didn't finish, it was so awfulDo I need to read books before this one: noCliffhanger: noThis romantic comedy series is tied together by Sam, a love advice columnist who has signed a love stories book deal. She needs real relationship stories, not just questions. She asks her four roommates--Zoey, Abby, Delilah, and Harper--to help. They think she's crazy. This story involves Abby, a programming genius, and Zane, owner of a startup company. They're connected by Zoey, his twin and her best friend. Zaneâs discovered a glitch in Eck0, so Zoey gives him Abby's number. He texts her a formal letter, which makes her have to tease him. She agrees to help because she's trying to build up a clientele list so she can leave her numbing day job. Zoey feeds Zane the secrets to keeping Abby happy and productive (favorite coffee, restaurant, treats). She is invited to a resort for the weekend to help secure more venture capitalist investments. This story is so fun to read at the beginning! Abby's character is heavily based on NCIS's Abby, complete with a Gibbs mental voice. Because Abby is a geek, she naturally uses geek culture in her thoughts (tricksy Sam, the waitress runs like she's being chased by a pack of Dementors,) and in her wardrobe (Stranger Things t-shirt, spike bracelet). I kept sharing parts with my husband because we're both geeks, too. Sadly, this becomes more and more sporadic as the story progresses. Zane is the complete opposite--suits, conservative, etc. Maybe he's Gibbs? His mother died when he and Zoey were sophomores in high school, and their military father dealt with grief and parenting by making more and more rules. Zane keeps mentally comparing Abby to his mother; they share a joie de vivre that he hasn't felt in forever. The repeated comparisons and recurring grief is overdone, and I hope he's not marrying his mom.The story follows the usual format of attraction growing, worries, love blooming, big problem at ~80%, and resolution with HEA. However satisfactory the HEA in this story is, the denouement is unsatisfactory. She forgives him far too easily, and he hasn't become stronger. Also, what happens with their employment? How is the hacking resolved? Does Eck0 get launched on time? Do the VCs invest or not? And what happened with the car accident?I grabbed the bonus material to read their engagement story. Even with that, I was left uncertain about their commitment to each other because of these unresolved issues. It feels like we jumped back to pre-hacker-reveal, to an innocent and immature love. I've read fast courtships, and I live love at first sight that's lasted 30 years, but this one feels unbelievable and, frankly, flimsy.I recommend this book to anyone who wants an enjoyable, absolutely clean read. It certainly has multiple hilarious moments. It does leave questions unanswered.FAVORITE QUOTE(S)âNormal isnât a thing. Youâre *you.* Donât change your style for anyone. Youâre perfect just the way you are.âInsecurities never fully disappear. Now, Iâm just better at shutting them down.âWomen are a treasure. A gift. What do you do with treasure?â âHoard it?â Iâd asked, being a snarky fifteen-year-old. Mom had smacked me on the arm, but she was smiling. âNo, Smaug. You protect it. You guard it. You always remember its value.âPOSSIBLE TRIGGERS (spoilers)Sex: kisses, report of 2 characters sleeping together, nude scene with no description and no lookingLanguage: 0 F words, 0 Lord's name in vain, 0 S wordsViolence: security guard tackles and cuffs a character, report of bullying in high school, report of fatal car crash but no details, drunk scene, fire

Review: "My latest read, Falling for Your Best Friend's Twin by Emma St. Clair, had me completely hooked! The chemistry between Abby, a talented computer analyst, and Zane, her best friend's brother and CEO of an app company, was electric. Review: I love romantic comedies. The romantic aspect of it is important, naturally, but I specially love the comedic side of it and this book has it in spades. The main female character is fantastic, not only she's incredibly witty but she is her own person despite some insecurities that come from a major trauma she experienced when she was a teenager. I definitely recommend it.

Review: This is a lovely book, no real sex scenes, but lots of chemistry. In some ways, we all face insecurities and deal with them differently, be it the bully, or the nerd. It takes tremendous courage to face them and grow out of them, something that Abby finally achieves. It takes tremendous courage to also accept your mistake and rectify it, something that Zane does. Abby's and Zane's love story is really beautiful and made me feel contented and glowing. The five girls are great friends. They are not there to just support each other but also to instill that confidence in each other that being oneself is all that's really needed in life to live a fruitful life. Be true to yourself.Looking forward to read about each of the other four.

Review: This was the first Emma St. Clair novel I've read and it was a great first impression. I love romance but despise how erotica has infiltrated my fave genre. This book was a gorgeous romance without the smut. I'm delving straight into the second book now.
