Title: Simple Design - Works Perfectly.
Review: I absolutely adore these to bits!I had another set that was very similar to this one, but my mom tried them out and loved them so much that I ended up giving them to her. : )So far I like this set a bit better, as the bottom's are quite as rounded (ie. a little more stable). You really need very little water when using these - if you add too much you'll have to dab your eggs dry with a paper towel.Though this is also convenient because less water in the pot means that much sooner the water boils and you can get to cooking. For me, I like to cook these for exactly six minutes. They have the perfect "in between" consistency of cooked and dippy. If you prefer them very dippy, try five minutes. And likewise, if you prefer them mostly cooked through, try seven to eight minutes. It really depends on your personal preference, so you may have to experiment a couple times.Once you figure it out though it comes out the same way every time, which I love. <3Again, just make sure there's not too much water (I add about an inch or so to the bottom of the pot) and that you only add the egg cups AFTER the water has come to a boil (otherwise the cooking times I mentioned above won't line up). Also, muy importante, you should always use a lid to cover your pot with. This helps to make sure that the egg is cooked evenly.I also spray the bottoms with Pam (you could use butter or something of the like though) to keep the egg from sticking. If you do this, the eggs will slip out perfectly and cleaning the cups is a breeze. Just give them a wipe down and they're good.Overall, for this price especially ($4.95 for a pack of four cups at the time of writing this review), this is an amazing deal and I'd purchase this again in a heartbeat.I never knew how easy and just how much I loved poached eggs until I got these.Ps. Oh, I almost forgot! The petals on the rims of the cup are especially helpful! My last ones didn't have that, so I had to use a large spoon to pull them out of the hot water when they were done. Now I can just grab a petal on either side and pull it out with my hands.Very convenient design. Title: Works as described.
Review: These are deeper than my other poach cups so they will not spill so easily. They have a cute flower rim so it is easier to remove them from the boiling water. Colors are nice (see photo). Easy to clean, non-stick. Just make sure to use spray oil in the smooth inside before use. Dishwasher safe so clean up is easy. I usually cook my poached eggs for 8 to 10 minutes from boil point. Deliciously cooked. Impressed by the design. I recommend these cups over the other poachers out there. Arrived in two days.

Title: These egg poacher cups are great!
Review: For health reasons, I switched to poached eggs instead of fried. These egg poachers are an absolute dream to use. Easy and the eggs come out looking and tasting really good. The instructions on use were easy to follow. Plus they take up hardly any room for storage as opposed to the other egg poaching methods I explored.A few tips: *You might need to cook the eggs longer than it says on the instructions. The first time I tried it for 4 minutes and the eggs were not cooked all the way through. The next few times, I kept them in for six and they were perfect. *You definitely need to coat the insides with Pam or the eggs won't come out. *You need to run a spoon around the edges after cooking for the eggs to release. If you follow those tips, the eggs slide out looking very presentable. So now I can have my eggs on toast without the side order of guilt.

Title: They're Okay, Sort Of
Review: Well, yeah, they work, pretty simple and straight-forward. Certainly better than those microwave poachers – if you leave those 1 second too long in the microwave they explode and you can spend the next twenty minutes cleaning egg off the walls and ceiling of your oven. And better than poaching by swirling your egg in simmering water, where 90% of you egg white gets lost. I just can't understand why these poachers have to be thin, floppy silicone. Fifty years ago I had a simple metal pan with four metal poachers suspended above the water and it worked flawlessly, every time. Is silicone somehow "better?" Remember, we're just talking about poaching eggs here, not inventing some radical culinary breakthrough. So yeah, I suppose these poachers work, but they're hardly an improvement over half-century-old technology...

Title: Perfect - Does the job!
Review: I just received these today and had to try them. I washed out the cups and dried them. I started some water in a sauce pan and just sprayed the insides of the cups with cooking spray. I put an egg in each of two cups and lowered them into the simmering water and covered the pan. I checked a few times to see how the eggs were doing and finally took them out when it seemed they were probably poached. I will have to perfect my timing and think I will also try these to make hard boiled eggs. I like hard boiled eggs but can never peel them without bits of white coming off also. I only have one set of kitchen tongs and wished I had two. When I picked up each egg cup by one side they came up easily. I was afraid picking them up by just one side might dump the contents into the water but they came up fine. I turned each cup upside down over a small bowl and the eggs came right out. I am a very happy egg poacher now and recommend these egg cups to all.

Title: Not worth the purchase!
Review: I’ve been making poached eggs for years. I thought this would be a great product. Boy was I mistaken! unless you have a poached egg pan to keep these these flimsy, hard to clean egg cups upright don’t bother. The eggs leak out of them when placed in water. They don’t sit upright in the pan, and they came smashed in the box. I left them out for a couple days thinking that they would correct themselves, but no luck. They are not easy to clean. Do yourself a favor and buy real microwavable egg poacher or a good egg poacher that comes with the pan on the stove. I definitely would not recommend these!

Review: Easy to use and clean. 6 min for medium, but you can cook 4+ at once. Must grease first. Not tipsy like the 3-point kind!Easy to use. Way better than the silly tipsy 3-sided versions you can find here. Yes, it takes longer to poach eggs in these than if you dropped them straight in the water, but the fancy chef drop method is for one egg at a time whereas with these you can have 4 (or more) cooling at the same time, and it's a lot less finicky!About 6-7 minutes for medium poached eggs. Oil/spray the insides before you put the egg in or you'll have to dig it out in bits. It's a little awkward to get out of the pot but not hard. I use tongs, tip it against the pot wall a little to let the water drip out, then just dump the egg out onto the plate. Always comes out perfect and in one piece.Easy to clean. Obviously you should wash them before you use them the first time (like with everything you buy). They sometimes have a white colour or film on them, but nothing that matters. These make poached eggs a LOT easier, although the need to spray/coat with grease first to get the egg out after defeats any health reasons for poaching vs frying. My 4-year-old also likes to steal these cups to play with. Great all around!
