Title: Cute Cat, Familiar & Lesser Known Songs to Sing-a-Long in French
Review: Volume 1 contains six tunes, some of them familiar standards (US) and some of them maybe not. The female voice is pleasant. A volume control is on the back, low or high. The low is actually quite loud (my video). You have to press the buttons very firmly to get a tune started. You can stop the tune by pressing the button again. The board book itself is very colorful and the cat with the little beanie is very cute. I really like the pictures. You have familiar tunes (US), such as itsy-bitsy spider, twinkle-twinkle little star and row-row-row the boat sung in French; and then there's a cute song about counting elephants, a âclear fountainâ tune, and âunder the moonâ. âAt the clear fountain, I went in to bathe. I loved you so long. I won't forget you.â is a bit different, but maybe it is popular, I donât know. The battery case (AAs) is at the back and youâll need a little screwdriver to open it up. There's an online resource with video links to very clear French pronunciation for all the text. For me, I really like the little cat, and the voice is nice. I like that it's a mix of familiar tunes and others, but am unsure how the fountain or the moon songs will be received; particularly where a little moon person is asking someone to open their door and ends with "for the love of God " (open up): it doesn't bother me but it's worth noting. As a board book, itâs meant for ages 1-3, but the text is for older kids and adults to read along, and it might work for them too. I like learning and teaching simple tunes in other languages. Singing is a good way to learn.

Title: Cute songs for kids
Review: This book comes with six children's songs sung in French. The audio is clear and not too fast, so it is easier to follow along. I was already familiar with three of the songs (Itsy Bitsy Spider, Row Row Row Your Boat, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star) and there were three new to me. The familiarity will also hopefully help kids engage with the songs better. Plus six songs offers enough variety so that parents don't feel like it's too repetitive. I appreciate that the speaker is on the front of the book as opposed to the back like many song books, because it makes it easier to hear if you have the book resting down on a bed or lap. The book came already loaded with 2 AAA batteries but they can be replaced when/if they run down. The book even came with a QR code for free videos, printables, and resources.

Title: French wonder for small kids
Review: Lulu Learns French Vol. 1 has become the most popular toy in the house. My two nieces, ages 4 and 2 have been playing the songs non-stop with the older actually singing in French on day two! The book is very well made, the pages clear, and not so likely to tear easily. The music is very well made, sounds clear, and the vocalist is refreshingly comforting and upbeat for sure. You have an excellent children's product that not only teaches French to an American 4 year old, but also poses as a toy and not an educational item. I would give this 6 stars if I could.

Title: Perfect for Introducing French to Little Ones!
Review: Iâm so happy with the LULU Learns French Musical Baby Book! I got this book for my granddaughter and me too! It came with batteries, so it was ready to use right out of the box, which was a nice surprise. The volume has two settings, which is great for adjusting to different environments. There are six songs in total, with the lyrics provided in both English and French, making it easy for toddlers to follow along. The buttons are simple for little hands to push, and the music keeps them engaged while learning. Overall, a fun and educational way to introduce Frenchâhighly recommend.

Title: I'm in love with Lulu Learns
Review: The Lulu Learns French series of books provide interactive learning through music and imagery, using common childhood songs. The singing voices are pleasant and soothing, and the book features 2 levels of volume control. Fun for independent play or parent-led activity, and even if baby's household isn't bilingual, exposure to other languages are so important at early ages. Explore the Lulu Learns series for additional options including English, Spanish, Chinese, and Tagalog, as well as other adorable characters (Bao Bao, Coco, Tin Tin, and Astro) to build a complete library that both you and beloved little ones will love reaching for.

Title: Cute but could use new songs
Review: I already have one of these books in a different language. I think that the concept is very cute but the songs are all the same for volume one. I'm not sure if this is a good thing for people who may want the same exact song in different languages but personally I would like my toddler to hear unique songs rather than the same tune in a different language. That being said the voice and the quality of the sound is very nice and the images are bright and look quality. If this is your first purchase from this author send I am sure you would love the book.
