WHERE should I go, and WHAT should I do?
Sweden is the largest of the Scandinavian countries, with an area twice that of Britain (and roughly that of California); but with a population of just over ten million, Sweden has space for everyone.
The countryside boasts pine, spruce, and birch forest as far as the eye can see and crystal-clear lakes perfect for a summer afternoon dip – not to mention possibly the purest air you’ll ever breathe. The country’s south and west coasts, meanwhile, feature some of the most exquisite beaches in Europe – without the crowds.

Title: Go beyond the travel basics with The Rough Guide to Sweden!
Review: Imagine you bought cheap tickets to Stockholm, and you have no itinerary...whatâs next? The Rough Guide will help you fill your itinerary and more. One of the features that sets it apart from other guidebooks is the brief, yet informative entries about people, such as the Sami reindeer herders or Carl Von Linne who created the binomial classification system for plants and animals.

Title: The best guidebook for Sweden
Review: I spend a lot of time in Sweden, and have tried every guidebook. This is the best one. Longer than the others (so more in depth), and the most recently updated. Rough Guides always does a good job giving background context as well.

Title: Worthless collection of blurbs
Review: Worst guide book I have ever tried to use. This book is poorly written, and poorly organized. It is nothing more than one paragraph blurbs on a list of sites. There are no suggestions or reviews. Unfortunately there were no other comprehensive guide books for Sweden. Based on this terrible book, there still are none.

Review: umfangreicher Reiseführer mit ziemlich aktuellen Informationen zum Reiseland Schweden. Habe Rough-Guides schon im mehreren Destinationen positiv verwendet. Gut sind auch die kleinen Kartenausschnitte der Orte.

Review: Rough Guides are still my favorite guide book, and although they're more glossy than they were, they still have the same level of information and seriousness. And, the maps have improved. Well written, and well organized. Looking forward to my visit next year.

Review: Too much text for a travel guide and just a few maps, which are limited to very specific regions chosen by the author. I'll go to any tourist info booth and get more detailed information for free instead.
