Title: NOW, WE'RE BOTH SATISFIED & FULL!!
Review: I just received my copy and have been thumbing through it. There is hardly a recipe I will not make. I am 78 and have been cooking for over 60 years so I feel justified in writing a review before I have cooked anything. I can read a recipe! And these are fantastic! But the best part is that now my meat-and-potatoes husband will be satisfied satisfied as will I with My vegetable what vegetable loving preferences preferences.. With hundreds of cookbooks on my shelves this one is going straight to the small shelf next to the stove! Zillion & zillions of great meals are ahead of us!!P.S. I really enjoy the blurbs from featured home cooks ... AND the beautifully detailed nutritional info!!

Title: Recipes are Delicious, Simple, and Filling
Review: I've had this cookbook for one month now and have successfully dropped 10 pounds. Although that number might seem small, anyone who has tried sustainable realistic dieting should recognize that 2 pounds a week is hard for a foodie like me. The recipes in this book have helped tremendously. They are all simple (five-seven ingredients), quickly prepared (around half an hour prep and cook time), and my personal favorite, delicious. The comfort food diet helps me feel like I'm not depriving myself of good food for the sake of appearance. The recipes I've made so far are things I'm happy to serve my family. I would recommend calculating your own nutritional data based on what you include as I find their estimates are usually a little off (higher than my calculations). Every single recipe I've made so far has been delectable and filling. I would recommend this book to anyone who doesn't want to give up good food to diet.

Title: Great best one so far.
Review: This is my favorite so far of all the comfort diet taste of home cookbooks i own yet and I own several. It has numerous pictures and actual edible recipes that are not just full of fake sugars and other unhealthy ingredients. The recipes actually taste good and the front of the book has a lot of tips and 4 weeks of planned out meals. I order a second one for a gift. This book has nutritional information and several photos of the foods. I would highly recommend this book.

Title: GREAT IDEA STARTERS!
Review: I would have given this book five stars if they had listed the amount of sugar carbs in each recipe as well as all of the other macronutrient information.Some of the recipes needed tweaking to fit our macros and clean (non-processed foods) eating. Very beautiful book and I do love that recipes didn't rely heavily on expensive ingredients for the most part.I would definitely consider buying the next incarnation of this book IF the sugar macros were included in the nutritional info at the end of each recipe.

Title: My favorite cookbook!
Review: This is my favorite Taste of Home cookbook because the recipes are so easy and delicious. The nutrition information is important to me because I've always been particular about what I eat. I especially enjoy the bonus slow cooker chapter. I love to cook and refer to this cookbook often. Highly recommend.

Review: I loving being able to have my comfort food when it does get slightly chilly here in FL. I love that I can convert the recipe to whole/clean food eating. The recipes so far used at huge hits in my house. The ingredients called for in the recipes one can easily convert to low fat/sodium to knock out more unwanted unhealthy fats. You can make them low carb and the best is the nutrition labels are with every recipe and that is what I love Taste of Home books.

Review: Initially got this book from the library and liked it so much I had to give it a try. Not so much for cooking at first, but for seeing if my husband would agree to use these recipes to lose weight. Knowing he is negative about many things, I thought it a good idea to go in sideways, and left it on the seat of the car while I left him waiting. It worked ... when I got back he suggested to me that this would be a good book to buy, since he had sampled the recipes in the book. He is already picking out recipes and even attempting to make some. I would recommend this book heartily. Although aimed at weight loss, the overwhelming bonus of this book is COMFORT.

Review: I am surprised how many of these recipes my partner is up for trying, he can be a bit difficult to cook for compared with me who will eat anything. So far we have liked all the ones we have tried with only one being unimpressive. Is a good book, I don't really thing of it as a diet book though. I am even ok with it all being in cups and have not found it hard to find ingredients as I have done with other US recipes (I'm in UK). Was a good buy.
