Title: I love this book
Review: First, I love this book. A lot. It disappeared, along with my recently purchased "isa Does It" and a few other cookbooks, so I have repurchased it in the Kindle edition.I've made:English Muffins - very good. I'm making them right now!East Coast Coffee Cake - also tasty. I opt for the jam swirl versionCranberry Orange Nut Muffins - I had requests for the recipe on that oneIndividual baked hash browns - I need to work a little more on that oneMom's Morning Casserole - lot of work, but quite delicious. Very filling.Tempeh Sausage Pastry Puffs - really good. Omni-approvedStuffed Poblano Peppers - Holy moly, the coriander seeds make it. Feel free to sub less spicy peppers for the serranosBanana Rabanada - ridiculously easy and deliciousChorizo sausages - easy, yummy and so much less sodium than the Soyrizo ones you can get at the market. Those are so salty as to be nearly inedible. These come together beautifully and hold up well. There are many recipes I have yet to try and others I have made, but not listed above. If you're looking for low-fat, this is not the book for you. If you want really delicious plant-based brunch food, just get this book. For the record, I am an omnivore, but eat plant-based most of the time.Isa's writing style is engaging and clear. The recipes don't call for things that are so obscure as to be impossible to find. The book has helpful hints on not just cooking the meals, but setting up for the brunch, suggested pairings and other ways to make the event simpler.I have to give the content 5 stars, but having owned both versions, I'd say the Kindle version has some formatting issues and suffers a bit from conversion to eBook. The pictures aren't always in logical places and there are a few other nitpicks I have, but at least I have these recipes back.

Title: Love Vegan Brunch
Review: The first vegan cookbook I ever bought as Vegan with a Vengeance I have used it so much over the years that it is stained with food and worn to pieces. Over the years I picked up Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World which I loved and actually used 2 of the cupcake recipes for my wedding cupcakes. Then I was given a copy of Veganomicon by my loving husband for Christmas 2007 - I honestly haven't used this book as much as VWAV & VCTOTW and was actually disappointed with it compared to Isa's two earlier books. However Isa Chandra Moskowitz has redeemed herself with Vegan Brunch which features a number of great vegan brunch recipes.Vegan Brunch features savory recipes such as tofu scramble, frittatas, polenta ranchers, Tofu Benny and perogies. Of the savory dishes I tried the tofu scramble which was delicious, the texture was almost creamy which I loved and really had the texture of scrambled eggs (or at least what I remember-it's been awhile). I also made the Cornbread Waffles which I loved because some days you just don't want to have a sweet waffle and this was a great savory waffle. Lastly I made the Tofu Benny which I loved! The hollandaise was delicious and the Diner Homefries were nice and crispy. To be honest I have yet to try any of the sweet brunch options and am actually much more of a savory breakfast person. I actually did have plans to make the Banana Rabanada (Brazilian French Toast) this morning but my husband forgot the baguette on his desk at work. I guess I'll make it another day! Some other dishes I have made and loved where the Samosa Mashed Potato Pancakes, Chesapeake Tempeh Cakes and the Mushroom Gravy. I made the Cheaspeake Tempeh Cakes for some of my omni friends and they couldn't get enough of them. I ate the mushroom gravy this morning with my scramble and am using the leftovers in my greenbean casserole.Over all this is a great book that I would recommend to anyone who loves breakfast. This book is great because although many cookbooks have breakfast sections none have the focus and devotion to breakfast items like Vegan Brunch.

Title: Makes me want to have brunch every day of the week
Review: This book might very well help me keep my house clean. The best motivator for me to get the house spotless is knowing that I will have guests over, and reading through the recipes in this cookbook makes me want to plan lots and lots of brunches. If I could only decide which recipes to try first! Not only do the recipes sound wonderful, the book itself is a pleasure to read. Moskowitz writes in a gritty yet classy style and provides lots of tips and suggestions for creating a perfect brunch setting. The recipes include a wonderful variety of flavors and textures that range from classic Americana fare (If you ever thought that you would have to give up all those omelets, frittatas, pancakes and baked goods on a vegan diet, think again) to regional and world dishes that you can mix and match to create your ideal brunch. Truly decadent in a down to earth way, the ingredients are also for the most part accessible. Nothing too exotic is required for the majority of the dishes, although several of the recipes call for liquid smoke and some fancy types of salt (and you could probably do without those in a 'pinch').

Title: The sausages are magic!
Review: I ordered this book used, "very Good" condition from a seller that ships out of amazon. It looked brand new to me. I think amazon is extremely picky in how they rate their products- which is a good thing, because I was pleasantly surprised at how well the condition of the book was.I bought this book for my vegan friend who loves brunch, and she is ecstatic with it. I made the sausages before I gave it to her, and I can't believe how well they hold together and how tasty they are! Now I can make my own fake meat w/o having to buy it in the frozen section...which is very unhealthy by the way.

Review: I love Isa! This book pleases my love for breakfast. Everything I've made from it has been nothing short of deliciousness. Every recipe turns out like it should. I'm disappointed that I ruined my copy because I had spilt some liquid on it making it sticky. I will be buying another copy.Side note, her pancakes are the only pancakes I make. My kids love them and so easy to make.
