Title: Top notch; excellent buy
Review: I'm a 60 yo woman; this mower is well-made, light-weight, easy to use and fairly easy to assemble. The two batteries now work about 30-35 minutes when charged, long enough for me to mow my small-medium sized yard. For the first two usages, the charges held only about 25 minutes but I've noticed that the charge holds longer when regularly used. Very very easy to use, easy to push. Great exercise for the aging bod. Highly recommended!

Title: Works well, easy to push, GREAT customer service from Greenworks!
Review: I am a 67yo woman with arthritis in my hands. I just bought a house in MD about 3 months ago and hired someone to mow the grass. He came once at the beginning of the drought we had this year, said he'd be back in three weeks and never returned. I decided I'd try mowing myself, figuring I could at least do it when it wasn't too hot. I bought it during Prime days, when it was just over $200, figuring it would pay for itself in about four mows.It took about 10 days to receive the mower. When I plugged in the charger and put in the two batteries, it started making a horrible very high pitched noise. This was not the charger fan noise some have referred to. This was like a tiny fairy screaming, loud enough I could not stay in the room and my three dogs ran out. I called Greenworks customer service directly and after a short conversation, I was told they were mailing me a new charger. Also told the charger was not dangerous so to use it til I got the new one. Charger and batteries went in the basement where humans and dogs couldn't hear the screaming fairy. So this morning I used the mower for the first time and it was awesome. It was easy to push and cut my overgrown grass with ease. Some of the grass was 1-2' high so I was concerned but most of it came down on the first pass. I actually had fun mowing! The two batteries lasted almost all the way through. I have a tiny patch left, about 2'x4'. Considering I was walking slow to make sure the really high stuff was cut, I'm happy with how long they lasted.I named my mower Rosie, after Rosie The Riveter because, "We Can Do It!" Rosie and I are going to have more fun in a week or so mowing together again.

Title: Good choice for small projects
Review: This mower is easy to start and its light weight makes it easy to push, and the sound is a bit less than a gas-powered motor. To adjust cutting height is nearly effortless - a big positive. It cuts well, and I like having the option to mulch or to bag; so far I've only mulched, and it mulches the grass clippings well. It's very easy to insert the two batteries into the charging ports, and after 2 1/2 hours they're fully charged. I'm really disappointed, though, that the fully charged batteries provide only a 40-minute run time. For my lawn, that translates to five steps: (1) mow 40 minutes (2) recharge the batteries for 2 hours 30 minutes (3) mow 40 minutes (4) recharge the batteries for 2 hours 30 minutes, and (5) mow 30 minutes, at which point I'm finished - and my lawn looks really great! I've mowed my lawn twice with the new Greenworks mower, and both times the charge time vs run time pattern has remained constant. I'm disappointed that it denies me the option to complete the mowing in the cooler early morning; rather, I'm forced to stop when the mower goes quiet because the batteries are exhausted, not because I need a break.

Title: Don't Make 'em Like They Used To
Review: I bought this product and after half a season of mowing I would not recommend this particular buy.Mower: battery was stated to last 1/3 of an acre on grass under 3inches. I own 1/4 of an acre and that includes driveway, patio, home and shed so grass area is much less than the quarter acre. The battery life doesn't even last long enough to finish the front yard. I have to stop half way every single time (7 mows) and I keep my grass at 2inches or below. The bag doesn't hold that much and I end up having to empty it multiple times which means starting and stopping the mower which further shortens the battery life. I've never used a battery mower with this short of a battery life. EVER.Trimmer/Edger: this is a good product. The only one of the bunch. This works on edges, weeds, branches, long grass - everything you need. Battery life lasts a LONG time. I even mowed my entire lawn with this once and one battery lasted for the entire yard. Clean, powerful and lightweight.Blower: not strong enough. Tried to blow grass trimmings - GRASS TRIMMINGS! and it couldn't. I highly doubt it'll work in the fall with leaves.Don't buy this. It's not worth it.

Title: A must have set for yard work
Review: This is an awesome set for the money. All three pieces of equipment work fantastic. The mower mows the grass with ease, even higher grass. The mower is light and easy to use. I'm a woman and hate using heavy hard to move gas mowers. This one is really easy to use. We have a pretty large back yard and it cuts the entire back yard and part of the front with just one charge. The mower does use the 2 batteries at the same time, so I am thinking of getting a third battery so I can do the weed wacking right after mowing. The weed wacker and blower are also light and easy to use. I can weed the front and back in one charge. This is a great set for anyone that doesn't have a huge yard and it looking for easy to use, light tools. Highly recommend!

Review: I bought this lawn mower for my small front yard. I've used it a couple of times now and love it! I was impressed with the battery life during the first mow, as the grass was a bit long and I went over some areas on the lawn a couple of times. The first mow took about 1hr. The lawn mower is easy to maneuver & turn. I am not using the bag, as I wanted to mulch the grass and keep it on the lawn, and the mulching attachment is easy to install. It's lightweight, as I have to lift it into my shed which has steps. I would recommend this lawn mower for smaller lawns.

Review: I'll be honest, I haven't had to mow grass in 20+ years. But buying a new home with a lawn this was a must buy. It comes with 2 batteries (which work with any other Greenworks devices of which I now have 2 of - hedge trimmer and weed wacker). Both batteries are used in the mower at the same time. I would say it lasted 45 minutes approximately. Basically long enough to do the side and back of my house. Honestly at the point the batteries died, I was done mowing anyway. It's not that much fun.Recharge (forget how long it took honestly, I did them overnight) and then mowed the front the next day.So now that I told you my tale, yeah it works great. I'm no mower expert, I didn't go to university to become a mower savant. But it cut my grass, is light weight to handle, and the batteries lasted the perfect amount of time. Way better than dragging a cord around, and far less loud and smelly than a gas mower. So moral of the review - buy one you won't regret it.

Review: I bought this mower to replace a 15 yr. old Sears gas mower. It was on sale so I couldn't resist. It was basically fully assembled except for the handle so it just took a few minutes to finish it. I let the batteries charge for about 3 Hrs. which brought them up to full charge. Popped them in and mowed my lawn. Slick and fast and perfectly cut all in about 12 minutes! Batteries were still 2/3 charged when finished so I figure I only need to charge them after every third cut. I REALLY like the wheel adjustment. Just push a button down and the mower floats up and down so easily. Just release the button when you've found the right height and it locks into place. The mower is very very light compared to my old one. It's all plastic which is fine (it won't rust). The only minor disappointment is the hollow plastic wheels. Don't know how long they will last but I guess replacements can be found if necessary. Surprisingly, going from a 21" to a 17" made no difference in the time it took to cut the grass, maybe because this one is so light and maneuverable. I've only had it a day so far but overall I am quite pleased. It does what it's supposed to do effortlessly and gives a great result. I am happy with the purchase. Recommended!!

Customers say

Customers like the functionality, ease of use, and lightweight design of the lawn mower. They mention it works well, is powerful, and easy to push. However, some customers have reported that the batteries only last about 20 minutes. Opinions are mixed on the build quality, battery charge, value for money, and cut quality.
