Title: Not Just for Beginners - A New Favorite
Review: I own several cookbooks from America's Test Kitchen. This is one of the best. Great pictures, great explanations, easy to read, very educational and informative. Everyone can learn from this book. It will soon have as many post-it notes as the other two of my favorites. Plan to give as a gift to new bride who is just learning, and to my sister who is a fabulous cook. Also comes with free 2-month online cooking school membership. I plan to take advantage of that in September. Highly recommend.

Title: Great First Cookbook
Review: As a college student with basically no prior cooking knowledge, this helped a lot for cooking techniques and has a variety of recipes for everything at the grocery store. The layout is set up to teach the how and why for the methods of making pretty much anything.

Title: So Far So Good!
Review: I've had the book for about a week and only made two recipes, but they've turned out pretty good. Love color photos and the "keys to success" section. Also like the added "science lessons." Finally, the book includes a free 2-month membership to online cooking school, which I've joined. Couldn't be happier ☺️

Title: Love This Cookbook For Gifting (and myself)
Review: I love this company as they have taught me so much through the many years I have cooked with their guidance from grilling beautiful meats outdoors to wonderful sauces on the stovetop. I use their cookbooks and watch and record a great many of their programs to have handy while I prepare the dishes. This cookbook is a fantastic introduction to a new cook as well as myself. Great gift idea!

Title: Functionality
Review: The New Cooking School Cookbook Fundamentals is huge and filled with information about the how’s and why’s of cooking. I am 67 and have been cooking all of my life and with this book I am learning so much more than I ever did before. I love it. It came packaged in a sturdy box which is a good thing because it is heavy. I think I will have a great time cooking with it as my guide.

Title:
Review: It seems to assume that certain kitchen appliances will be owned and, in all honesty, the recipes really didn't wow me. Also, I felt that each section being written by a different person made the book hang more as a collection of articles than a cohesive book - needed tighter overall editing. Given away within a week of purchase. Much better "cookery tutorial" books out there. Overpriced!
