Operation Steps

Fix this portable washing machine on an ordinary bucket. Put clothes, water and laundry detergent into the bucket. Soaking clothes for 10-15 minutes. Keep the water below the MAX scale on the washer, also clothes can not more than 2/3 of the bucket. Adjust the timer from 1 min to 15 mins for washing according to your needs. Take out the clothes, final to twist them dry.

Review: This thing washes the hell out of your clothing! Take your time make sure both of the connectors that roll into and connect to the bucket are in place.Sometimes it’s a little bit hard to get them both snapped in but stay with it.. after you do it once you can lift the washer part out of its bracket and never have to do it again so don’t worry. You can control your wash time and your rinse time it’s a simple device that will revolutionize people in RVs on sail boats, boats or with no washer at all laundry process.It is great! minimal equipment.All it takes is a bucket a 5 gallon, preferably or larger and the washer and some soap.It’s amazing I love it I love it I LOVE it!

Title: Works well for me
Review: This works well with hand towels and small articles of clothing with pants and full size towels needing more room. I use a large plastic tub with a rubber bungee around the top of the tub to hold the washer in place. If doing large towels or pants, I only do one or two items at time. With smaller items, I can wash around 10 or items since they agitate easier. Good product and I have used this for a month with no issues.

Title: Perfect in small doses
Review: It never ceases to amaze me how people give poor reviews to an item in lieu of their own incompetence or unreasonable expectations.Anyways, machine works well as designed and if you follow the instructions everything will be fine. Yes the unit does knock around a little bit when in use. However that's okay. It will live. The suggestion of using it in a bathtub is a good one to catch sudden splashes. Do not overload the bucket with too many clothes. Your clothes need to spin freely in the water, when in use. I also find taking the clothes for a quick spin in cool water to rinse as helpful as well. If the motor sounds like it's having a hard time, take a couple pieces of clothing out. It is that simple.Also be sure to let The machine rest after 15 minutes of use for about 5 minutes so the motor doesn't overheat and seize. Cheers!

Title: Works perfectly
Review: This is a great piece of equipment for doing laundry in campers, RVs, or dorm rooms. It is really easy to use, gets small loads of laundry clean and fresh, which is great if you've been fishing all day. We've had good success using the machine with a 5 gal. bucket filled almost to the top with fresh water and 2 laundry pods for a 10-minute wash cycle. Then, replace the soapy water with fresh, clean water, and do another 5 or 10-minute rinse cycle. If your clothes are really dirty, you can do a third 5-minute rinse cycle. Our 5 gal. bucket has raised rings around the top edge, so the machine's back clamps won't secure it to the bucket. We fixed this problem by clipping two large binder clips on either side of the machine and securing it to the bucket by tying a small bungee cord around the machine's handle and hooking the other end to the opposite side of the bucket. You can find short bungee cords here on Amazon or at Home Depot.

Title: update after 12 weeks of use.
Review: Update:Today is 10/15/2019. I’ve washed 4-5, six gallon buckets of clothes/week since I received the Kofohon Portable Washing Machine. The instructions say to not let the Kofohon motor run for more than 15 minutes. That’s no problem for me, I’ve been handwashing clothes with the routine of: agitate for 5 minutes, soak for 5 minutes, agitate for 5 minutes, wring, rinse, wringer, rinse, wringer and hang to dry. My Kofohon never runs for more than 5” at a time. It usually gets more than 30” rest between final rinse and next wash. That’s only 10” total run time/hr. Unfortunately, it smells like the motor is burning out after 2 wash buckets. I’ll contact Kofohon and report back. At nearly $100 for the machine, I saved no money on laundry these past 11 weeks. Very disappointed.Received 8/1/2019 and I’ve washed three 6 gallon buckets of laundry already today using this amazing machine. My clothes and linens came out cleaner than the laundromat washers! It’s perfect for anyone with space or lease issues that prevent installing a washer. It also saves your back and gas from hauling baskets of clothes to the laundromat every week, not mention no more shoving rolls of quarters into machines. I’ll recoup the cost in two months.I set it up in my kitchen sink (double sink), but you could use your tub/shower if you prefer. If you limit the detergent to 1 Tbsp/6 gallon bucket and hand wring out your fabric items really well after washing, you can rinse twice -wring out really well between rinses- and you’ll be amazed how clean your clothes are. I line dry, too -there’s nothing better than line dried laundry.The motor is quite powerful. It was able to wash a pair of jeans, shirt and underwear in that 6 gal bucket quite easily. If I’d had a taller bucket holding more water, I’ve no doubt it could cope with a full size sheet or couple of towels.It could use more robust and adjustable clamps so that it doesn’t move when in operation. I wedged a rolled up washcloth under each hook to minimize movement.I am so glad I found this.
