Title: Fancy, lovely Slow Cooker
Review: I love slow cookers - I have small ones for dips, traveling ones, etc...this one is the most modern yet. I could not wait to use it to make chili. It is a 6 quart and works well - as to be expected from this manufacturer. I admit I thought I didn't need the instructions but the menu on the cooker was not intuitive when I first plugged it in. After reading the instruction and the first plug-in it worked very simple. It also did not help that there were no sounds - again I thought I was doing something wrong. This does not take away from the cooker but I used to hearing something when touching a screen button and this is completely silent.I have not used the defrost feature but am very happy about the automatic switch to WARM when the cooking is done - there has been many a time that I forgot the time and left my cooker on high. This is a great feature and makes it all worth it. I do wish it had bigger handles like my old Hamilton Beach cooker and locking handles for transport, but the extra features and quality make up for the lack of thoe features. Love this cooker

Title: A great updated version of the classic Hamilton Beach slow cooker!
Review: After breaking the lid on my old slow cooker, it was time for a new one. This updated version of the classic Hamilton Beach slow cooker does so much more than my old one! You can defrost in it and everything! You just throw frozen meat in, set it and let it do the rest. I haven't used the temperature probe yet, but I trust that it will work great like every other function on this slow cooker. It's really light weight which makes it easy to get off my storage shelf. I love how it goes to warm after the food is done. Everything cooks evenly even when I have a lot of ingredients like for a stew or beef roast. Great price for a great product! I highly recommend this one.

Title: Works Great, Case Fragile
Review: I used this right away after receiving it. I needed it for a potluck lunch at work. I was quite pleased with the performance and thought it did a good job. Something to note, I realized after getting it back home there is a rather large dent on the back of the unit. I don't think it's possible to be popped out. It doesn't affect it's use at all, but cosmetically it isn't the best. Now I'm not sure if it arrived that way and I didn't notice, or it got bumped at work and caved. I'd be surprised if it arrived that way as it was packaged very well. However, I'm also hesitant to say it happened at work because I don't know what could have done that, and if it was bumped in any capacity it wouldn't have been very hard. So just know, you might have to be a little precious with the outer unit part.

Title: Great crockpot
Review: We used thos today to cook our roast and it was tasty and delicious. Our precious unit has been struggling leaving the veggies in the roast still crunchy even after 8-9 hours of cooking, but not this unit.I set it to low in the morning which started an 8 hour countdown after which time it auto switched to warming mode until we were ready to eat. When we cut into the roast we could immediately tell the difference and the veggies were cooked perfectly. This unit even has a defrost mode where it will defrost your meat before going into full cook mode. A great utility that we didn't have on our old one.The only thing we miss, though I'll be honest rarely ever used, were locking handles to keep the lid secured for traveling. besides that one missing feature we are very satisfied with this crockpot and look forward to many more meals.

Title: Easy and user friendly
Review: My old crock pot had a digital display that’s died, so I was excited to get this. The digital display seems of a higher quality than my last, and the buttons are very simple to use. The display is easy to read too. The defrost mode basically auto-sets to high for 4 hours - a quick click that’s useful even when not defrosting! It goes down to warm after 4 hours.This crock pot is also taller, whereas my last one was wider. I like this taller one, since it has a smaller footprint in the cabinet and still slides in fine.One minor thing - my old crock pot had a rubber lining around the lid to keep the lid from rattling against the ceramic as it simmers, and this item has no such lining. Not a big deal, but we’ll see of that’s annoying with time. I almost took off a star for this, but now I’m wondering if that lining did much. My old crock pot had quite a few features I never really used. We’ll see!Touch temp: the crock pot had been on high for 4 hours when filmed here. It’s hot/very very warm to touch, but not quite dangerous for adults. I wouldn’t want a very young kiddo touching it while on high, or anything sensitive to temps, but it’s safe for most ages who may occasionally make contact with it while on the maximum temp.

Title: life changing
Review: I just made a really nice meal with this stuff and it came out really really good. I used frozen chicken and just put a little bit of water and added some vegetables and seasoning and it came out so good. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It didn't need the full four hours. I made it in probably like 2 1/2 maybe three hours I love this. I like that the pot comes out and you can wash it. It's very simple but it's probably gonna change my life. I'm gonna be able to take food to work and I'm gonna be able to put frozen like do you know how convenient it is to be able to cook frozen meat just straight like that? it's Amazing. I would highly recommend this to anybody. single people, families, people who own Childcare businesses I think this is a really good thing it's gonna change your life and it's really affordable only $50 for something like this. I think it's amazing.

Title: Large Capacity Slow Cooker
Review: I've used this Hamilton Beach 6 Quart Slow Cooker twice this past week and everything has cooked to perfection. Roast, potatoes and carrots, and homemade Beef Stew. Delicious.Very easy to use. I love the defrost option. The large capacity is big enough for a large roast and big meals. Very easy to clean. Good weight, and solid. Exactly as described. Much nicer then my old slow cooker. Highly recommend.

Title: Perfect slow cooker!
Review: My previous slow cooker had become a fast cooker so it was time for something new. This one is great! It cooks well and is easy to use. The heat levels are what I was expecting and I’ve had no use with anything being overdone. The pot comes out and cleans up easily. So happy with it!
