Title: Great router
Review: Great router simple to set up but I did have to mess with the channel settings to get a clear channel and not have interference with the neighbors. It doesn't do it automatically apparently. If you don't get the right channel, your signal is going to be horrible and it'll disconnect constantly.

Title: Good home router
Review: I have used ASUS routers for decades. This model is very good and has many up to date features, including multiple VPN client and server options, QOS, etc. I use mine as the gateway router for our 1200 sq ft apartment with an Xfinity gateway in bridge mode. I alternately use the host and client VPN capability. The wifi coverage is excellent, the 5GHz and 2.4Ghz reach all rooms with good throughput in spite of all the interference from adjacent apartments. The iphone app is pretty useful and the browser interface is very complete.

Title: Great product and great support, Worst after sale support
Review: I've been using this router for a few months now and I liked it. It works great!I had a minor issue with 2.4 band it shows no internet connection often and any devices connected to the 2.4 channel stopped responding. I connected to the support with Chat and the support engineer assisted me quickly. The issue was resolved. I recommend this product. You can save at least $10 /month on device rental too.Now let's talk about the after-sales support. I'm facing an issue with my internet and after diagnosis, it is confirmed the issue is with the router, it is dropping the internet continuously. I contacted support, and one ticket was raised for replacement. it has been 2 weeks there has been no movement or communication. Every time I connect to the support (chat or phone) for ETA, I get and standard answer," Sorry, there is no ETA, you will receive an email when your replacement is available."I would suggest not buying ASUS products their support is not up to mark.

Review: This router was easy to set up and works very well for my shop. The connection is a lot more stable then my previous router. With a total of 5 laptops and 1 car scanner always connected to the internet its important not to have interruption when programing an ECM on a truck.
