The epic conclusion to the award-winning series full of romance and high stakes emotion!
Not even Wes can save me from the darkness that’s consuming me.
Gordon Steppe wants my blood, and more than that, he wants to get inside my head—control the bond I share with the hybrids and use it to destroy anything with dirty blood. If I don’t help him, he’ll kill everyone I love, starting with my pack.
But the real battle isn’t just against Steppe—it’s against the beast within me.
Every day, it’s getting harder to keep it at bay. The prophecy says I’m supposed to save everyone, but all my choices seem to lead to more pain, more danger, more death.
Friends have turned against friends, and I’m being pulled deeper into the darkness.
Wesley St. John is the one person who’s always believed in me, but now even he might not be enough.
With the final battle looming and my inner demons threatening to tear us apart, I’m terrified that our love won’t be enough to save me—or us.
In the end, if I can’t conquer the darkness within, I won’t just lose this war—I’ll lose the only person who’s ever truly mattered, and the last shred of myself along with him.
The final battle is won or lost in this heart-wrenching conclusion to the bestselling Dirty Blood Series!

Title: Awesome ending
Review: For this group, a happy ending was never thought of or even believed. But that's exactly what they get. For Wes and Tara, being on the run's been wearing thin. Steppe's getting in everyone's head and all they can do is try to stay ahead of it. But when the Hybrids are in trouble, will she choose her pack or the love of her life? Why can't she just have them both? Is love even in the cards for her? This is a very awesome ending to a hang-on-the-edge-of-your-seat series. I love the way it all comes to a head and the way our heroes deal with it.Had an amazing time reading this series. You won't want it to end. I know I didn't!

Title: An Exciting Conclusion To The Series
Review: Wow, I can't believe we have reached the end of The Dirty Blood series. Tara and Wes' journey for peace has concluded. It was action packed, pretty much from the start of this 5th and final book. There were some outright surprises and plot twists, especially for Cambria. I really liked her character, as a major secondary player in this story, she almost trumped Tara. She was an awesome side kick to Tara, and very well written. All the major characters were well written and well developed. This was my second favorite book in this series, book two was my favorite.Overall, definitely well worth reading. If you have read all the books in this series, you will not be disappointed. All plot lines were concluded, leaving me with no outstanding questions. Some things were only alluded to, but that's as good as a conclusion. This was a page turner from start to finish. I do like a book that is easy to follow and fast paced, before you know it you have finished. What I got from this series, was all things are worth fighting for, if it is something you truly believe in. There will always be barriers to overcome, but that is part of life, and true friends will always have your back.

Title: Good but......
Review: This is the last I have of these books. I have not finished it yet but I am sure I will in the next day or two. For the most part the series is good. I do feel she tries to insert too much of what happened in the previous books as she tells the next part. I find that a waste of my reading time. The first couple of books in the series were not total cliff hangers, I hate total cliff hangers! But after those each book was a cliff hanger with just stopping completely. One of them really didn't even pick up with the ending and the beginning, which was confusing to me. Anyway if you don't mind the cliffhangers then I think you will enjoy these books.

Title: Disturbing and hopeful in one breath
Review: This was such an exciting and unbelievable ending! I was entirely surprised by so much of it. I never suspected things would take the turns they did, and this final book in the Dirty Blood series was just as riveting as the earlier books. As much as I wanted to see some semblance of happily ever after for Tara and Wes, I wasn't quite ready to let go of these characters. I felt like I fought alongside them, and the journey was exhausting and exhilarating at the same time.I never expected Tara to be captured by Gordon Steppe much less held as long as she was. The secrets and alliances, along with the betrayals, were mind boggling as much as they were frightening. It was difficult and heartbreaking to see the pain and torture so many endured, besides Tara, in this final piece to the story. I wondered how or if she was going to find a way out of the terrifying situation in which she found herself. Without those she loved surrounding her, she was on her own, left to wonder if they were even attempting to find her or rescue her. Would the fight for peace between the Werewolves and the Hunters prevail? Was there any chance Tara and Wes would have the happy ending they strived to gain?Moments of the story were absolutely disturbing, especially the racism and undeniable disregard for life by the villains. But I loved Tara's strength and resolve given the terrifying circumstances of her imprisonment and the knowledge of what Steppe had in mind for the future. It was a lesson in the dangers of extreme power and the grit and determination of true heroes. This was a fitting end to the series, and I look forward to the reading the Alex's story because I just can't get enough of these characters.

Title: The Perfect Ending
Review: Broken Blood begins with Tara being held captive and tortured by Gordon Steepe, but that's just the beginning of her problems. While Tara knows she's been drugged and trapped for months, that's not what the rest of the world thinks. Gordon has been systematically releasing doctored videos showing Tara committing heinous crimes. Worse than that he's using those videos to justify changing laws and starting an all out race war. The Cause has fallen and all races are out for blood and hunting any former Cause member. Even these aren't l Tara's worst problems while she's been locked away. Her wolf is gone. No matter how hard she tries she can't pull it to the surface. What's worse is her pack is also gone. No voices fill her mind. She spends everyday totally alone with nothing to do but wonder if anyone she loves is even still alive. So when she's escorted from her cell one day to be asked a favor from Gordon, she realizes she needs to fight. Can she come out of her stupor and fight back? If she does is anyone even there waiting for her? If she still has loved ones alive, can they stop the hate that fuels the war now raging around? This book has all the characters we know and love changed in such a drastic way. The war has changed them. Fighting for their lives has changed them. In this book we see the innocence of them stripped. They must fully accept their fate, and fight for the world they want to live in. Their battle wounds are carried on their souls as well as their bodies, and in this book it shows. The twists in this book were very clever, and the storyline was a perfect ending. This was a perfect ending for a great series, and I can't wait for something new to read from Heather.

Review: I enjoyed this series and the finale certainly tied up the loose ends. However I didnt like the love triangle. I would not have read it knowing this. My favourite was Alex throughout this story and it sure was an emotional ride for him. Highly recommended

Review: Overall it was good but some things were too confusing. Like this mind thingy with Tara and Wes while Tara still was captured...I simply didn't get it...And what about her hybrid pack? It was sooo important in book 4 but then they are just gone and everyone is fine with it..
