Title: Start that holiday baking now
Review: For our family baking cookies and the holidays go hand in hand. So, having lots of recipe options is always a good thing. I liked that this book opens with some great tips for those kind of new to baking cookies. The author imparts some knowledge that you really only get from trial and error, like cut cookie bars while still warm and make sure there is at least 4 inches of space between your oven racks to allow heat to circulate. Then we get into the recipes. There are plenty of recipes with those holiday flavors we love, like egg nog, peppermint, and rum. There are also some great family traditional recipes like kolaches sprinkled in as well. The directions are really clear and easily understood. I can see myself using this book a lot.

Review: I love baking for Christmas. It's my favorite thing to do at the holidays so this book is right up my alley. There are a ton of new cookie recipes for me to try. With eighty different recipes, I can't wait to work through the cookbook. I love the Cherry Shortbread cookies! They were so easy to make and I am making them again for Christmas.

Review: When my children were small, I baked cookies every Christmas, now I want to do the same with my grandchildren. This cookbook has brought back memories, it has some great cookie recipes, bake and no bake. You will have a lot of ideas for frosting and decorating with the tools you need. It has cookies that are sugary or spicy, like the gingerbread cookies, but they all sound delicious. I'm going to try to make the gingerbread house when it gets closer to Christmas. This cookbook will surely be used.
