Title: Series 7 with Self Cleaner and Charging Stand. Excellent
Review: I first bought a Braun Electric shaver in 1968 because it was so highly rated. It was a great purchase and I continued with Braun as I replaced shavers over the years because they were always well engineered, reliable and did an excellent job. Looking at the cost for their 9 series - $250 to $350 - was off putting. So I looked at their full range to see if they had a more affordable option. The 7 series with three speeds - gentle - normal - Turbo was far more in line at $140 and had great reviews. Less bells and whistles on the technology but still gives a great shave. I found an option which included the basic. self cleaning and charging stand. - which I highly recommend vs using hot water and soap. You just pop off the blade cartridge and brush out the trimmings. Same with and top of the razor. Clip it back on and put the razor in the stand, press the button and walk away until your next shave. The stand uses a reservoir cartridge which is easy to load and replace and available on Amazon. I use the razor for my face and head. It takes me about 5 minutes and requires several passes for a clean shave, but well worth taking the time. Highly Recommend the Braun Series 7.

Title: Great razor but...
Review: I’d give this product 5 stars if it wasn’t for the horrible, almost incomprehensible user manual (actually a single sheet of diagrams) which forces the user to figure out the use and operation of the shaver through sheer trial and error. I’ve had an older model self-cleaning Braun shaver for years so I had some experience and figuring out the nuances of this one didn’t take long but good luck with the printed directions. I tried to find the "user manual" online at Braun's website but it was merely more of the same. I’m surprised that a terrificGerman company like Braun would be so inept at providing information to its customers particularly given the price of their products.Otherwise, it’s a great shaver with multi-use attachments which are easily switched out for trimming, from very close, clean shave, a stubble attachment for that look, a trimmer attachment with 7 length varieties and of course the attractive cleaner/charger base. The battery length is superb, even if you shave every day and the self-cleaning option works perfectly. The shaver is very ergonomically comfortable and even looks good sitting on the countertop inserted in the base. It also comes with a very nice travel case with room for needed attachments. In short, great razor/trimmer, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Only negative—lack of a decent user manual.

Review: Having always being a Norelco user, this is my first Braun. I have only used it a few times, but am impressed with the comfort and closeness of the shave. To boot, it comes with a great beard trimmer which is very easy to use. With my limited experience, I very much like it.

Title: Better shave than hubby's old shaver
Review: Bought this after my husband left his old Series 7 in a hotel. He loves this one more even though it's also a Series 7. According to him it shaves closer and he can skip a day (or 2). Even though he changed the head and cleaned the old one, there's something better about this new one.

Review: Upgraded from a 5 year old Series 6 and this is night and day better. Slim design, great battery and attachments. So efficient I can shave in 3 or 4 minutes and it's not far off a wet razer shave closeness. The Dock is well designed compared to my old one that had connection problems. I hope this lasts another 5 years!
