Q1: How to change the modes?

Long press 2 seconds to change the mode, green is audio mode, red is USB connection mode, blue is Bluetooth mode.

Q2: Why do some computers show different decoding rates?

Because the speaker directly decodes the signal through the built-in chip, the corresponding parameters will not be displayed on the computer.

The parameters that can be found in the computer are the performance of the sound card that comes with the computer.

Review: I like that the Sanyun SW208 Bluetooth connects to all of my devices without wiring. They are affordable yet sound much better than the typical computer speakers I had. The only downside is that the beep when they are powered on is louder than I would like, but it’s not terrible.

Title: Good bang for your buck
Review: I've had and used these for almost two weeks now. Out of the box impressions: They are a very sleek/clean looking, nice and small so they don't take up too much space on your desk or stands and they are light. Using them they are pretty nice if you are in a apartment or office/gaming room. They are simple plug and play speakers and the bass is pretty decent given what they are. These aren't going to blow your hair back or anything but they also don't sound cheap and garbage. As other reviewers have mentioned there is a bright green light to show that they are on which can be annoying if you have a second monitor. I would say they are worth the money if you're looking to get simple nice speakers that won't break the bank.

Review: I like everything about these speakers!Excellent sound quality and very, very loud.Best base I’ve heard on desktop speakers, ever. Treble is equally good.Elegant mat black speaker boxes with nonslip base.Easy to access volume and balance knobs in an unobtrusive, recessed side compartment.Keep in mind that, although driven by Blue Tooth, these speakers are not wireless. There is of course a power cord, and there is a wire that runs from one speaker to the other, which is removable, with a standard jack, so you could get a longer one if you need.The directions are easy to read.Very easy to set up Blue Tooth. To pair the blue tooth, press the volume button in. First press will show red. Second press will show blue for blue tooth. Hold in for pairing. NOTE: These speakers are very loud. Turn the volume knob to low setting and turn the volume on your computer to very low, so you don’t blow up the speakers when first paired, then adjust as wanted.Enjoy!

Title: volume knob doesn't work, inadequate documentation, USB mode is extremely flaky
Review: These are total bargain-bin speakers, poorly engineered, with design defects and no useful documentation.The biggest engineering bug is that the volume knob doesn't work when you use it with USB. This problem is no documented anywhere on the Amazon page. It does seem to be discussed in the printed booklet that comes with the speakers, but the English is so bad that it's hard to tell what they intended to say: "Note: When using Bluetooth mode and USB cable connection mode, the speaker volume may share the same volume with the device, so the main volume knob is not set with the highest and lowest volume scales." If you can understand that sentence, then good for you. I'm guessing it came straight out of Google Translate.The speakers can be used in three modes, but the printed booklet that comes with the speakers doesn't mention how to set the the mode. For this information, you need to carefully look through the Amazon page, where they have this note: "Long press 2 seconds to change the mode, green is audio mode, red is USB connection mode, blue is Bluetooth mode. " I assume "audio mode" is intended to mean using it with a phono jack. "Long press" refers to pressing and holding the volume knob for a couple of second. This is really bad engineering. For usability, all they needed to do was make the thing detect when it's connected to USB. (Hey, it's not that hard for a USB device to detect that!) As it is, you get the thing out of the box and plug it in through the USB cable, and you have absolutely no idea why it isn't working.The micro-USB cable they supply does not mate nicely with the port on the back of the speaker. It's hard to tell whether you're pushing it in hard enough or not. Low-quality parts, cheap engineering.One speaker has all the connectors sticking out of the back. The power cable sticks out about 6 cm. This is awkward when you're trying to fit the speaker into a confined space, e.g., it wouldn't fit on my windowsill. So if you're buying these because they look compact, keep this in mind.The only good things I will say about these speakers are that they do have pretty decent bass response, and they were certainly cheap.[EDIT] I spent an afternoon doing some coding while playing sound through the speakers, and I experienced even more problems.The biggest hassle is that the USB input worked fine for a few hours and then abruptly stopped working in the middle of playing something. I tried power cycling the speakers, but that didn't help. I had to shut down my computer and reboot to get the speakers working again, but then the USB input stopped working again after a couple of minutes. As a last resort, I plugged the speakers in via the analog phono-plug cable (which luckily I'd saved). This fixed it, but it eliminated one of my main reasons for having bought this particular model of speakers, which was that I wanted something with USB input.A second thing I noticed is that the broken behavior of the volume knob is not even consistent. What I originally observed was that the knob seemed to have no effect when I was in USB mode, and I assumed that this was what was being documented in the tortured English of the documentation, as quoted above. But I later noticed that turning the knob while in USB could actually have three different effects: (1) sometimes it has no effect; (2) sometimes it works; (3) sometimes it deactivates the speakers and the only way to recover is by power cycling.So basically it looks like whoever made the USB interface was just totally incompetent and/or didn't do any testing. The USB interface is just completely unusable my experience.A final issue is that when I was in USB mode, I found that for some material (e.g., the PBS News Hour's streaming programs on their web site), the sound output was extremely low -- e.g., too low to be easily audible when there was background noise such as a fan. This seemingly can't be fixed in software, because even when I max out my operating system's volume control, I just can't get a level through the USB interface that is loud enough. Of course, if the volume knob worked while in USB mode, then you would have a way to convince the speakers to give some more gain -- but as described above, that's a disaster.

Title: Comparable to $200 plus speakers
Review: This is my sixth set of studio monitor / computer speakers I have had in the past 5 years and these are one of my favorites, comparable to $200 plus speakers. The dual mode is nice - you can use them in monitor mode which is a fairly decent one to one sound for sound reproduction on your keyboard, musical instrument or just pure classical music. or you can put it into Hi-Fi mode for gaming and music videos and it has a good full sound. Use an equalizer with these and they sound like a $250+ set of speakers. I have used Edifier PreSonus Rockville and two other brands and the Hi-Fi mode equals the edifier 1850s and in monitor mode they are very similar to my PreSonus all in one speaker hard to ask for more at this price of course you could get clearer and louder sound but you would have to pay quite a bit more money for for that.The yellow carbon fiber cones give them a sharp look similar to more expensive brands.Two thumbs way up for the 4-inch 80 w speakers I cannot speak of the smaller ones but I can say that the 4-inch 80 watt ones are well worth the money

Title: decent bass and good for the price. Sound quality is not clear/crispy
Review: Not impressed with the sound quality. It's very heavy on bass and sacrifices on clarity. Even when adjusting the knobs on the side, the audio remains muddy and lacks the crispness/detail. I compared it to my cheap Logitech S120 speakers, though lacking bass, offered a much clearer and more defined sound.If you're willing to sacrifice clarity for more bass/volume, it is worth it. Definitely don't recommend it to audiophiles.

Review: Wow! Exceeded my expectations. What can you expect these days for a $130 powered Bluetooth set of bookshelf/desktop speakers? I automatically thought this was again a sub-par Chinese product and I must admit that I haven't had them that long so I can not comment on their longevity as of yet....time will tell.Packaging: Good/AverageParts: Speaker cable, power cord, optical cable, usb cable and even comes with a RemoteBuild/Finish: Very good ( I like the white colored ones as they give the clean look I'm looking for - no grills)Set-Up: EasySound: Better than I expected. Very warm sounding (definitely equalized with some sort of dsp processing)I was looking for a set of small desktop speakers that could be connected digitally via usb from my laptop, as there are a lot of manufacturers that do not provide this for some reason. These had this capability so I thought I would try them out.Very impressed! Even the cable that connects the one speaker to the other is a 4 pin xlr type connector which indicates that the tweeter and woofer are bi-amped (UNHEARD OF IN THIS PRICE RANGE!)I ordered the stands which I think will bring the tweeter closer to 0 degrees on axis. (Probably 30 degrees at the moment.Don't hesitate and try these out.
