Title: Ok but has room for improvement and here's a 4 reasons why...
Review: I know this is sold as a "Workout Gym timmer/clock," but I ordered this large clock for my workshop. It is easily visible anywhere in the shop and has audible sounds at different times. (Sounds can be turned off) I also wanted something with a date and temperature reading, and this fits the bill for both. It also has a count-up or count-down stopwatch function that I don't need for my usage, but it does have it and works well with the provided remote. The display is adjustable for bright and dim settings. The attached picture shows the clock mounted at the top left of my shelving rack at the brightest setting. What I don't like:1. It does not have a battery backup. If you unplug it or the power goes off, the date and time will be lost. I'm surprised that a clock does not have at least a button battery to hold the date and time for power outages. There is plenty of room for a clock of this size to fit a battery in it.2. The remote is the only way to set the time or date. You are just out of luck if the remote is lost or damaged. I could not find a place to buy a replacement remote; this is a pretty specialized remote that I doubt you will be able to find a replacement for.3. The directions regarding specific settings are vague, such as changing the display color and switching from a 12-hour or 24-hour format. While this isn't a big issue, it can be frustrating when you have the time and date set and need to change them while trying to adjust the display colors.4. I do not download apps on my phone for anything like this, so I did NOT use this clock with the unknown app. A simple clock should not need an app! ð¤¦ð¼

Title: Long review of an odd clock
Review: I was looking for a clock that was easy to read and included date and temperature. I saw this clock and decided to give it a try. First some of the good: It's large and mostly easy to read (other than the "day" display which is tiny). The clock comes with a very long cord, as well as an A/C adapter for the USB plug, a nice change from most electronics these days! Now for the funky. By default, when you plug it in, it goes into "let me cycle through all colors" mode, rather annoying! You can use the remote to change colors. It's confusing to change the "sub" menu (date / day / temp) via the remote. I downloaded the app and it was easier. Fairly straight forward. I was looking for a button to sync the time to my phone, but it did that automatically so that was good. It has some other modes (count down, timer), which are worthless to me, but I guess if you're using it near a pool or some sport facility, those may be handy. Another annoying "feature" of the clock is it's very bright! It has 5 brightness settings, which I thought would be handy. The highest are VERY bright, nice I guess if it's across a large room or pool, WAY too bright for a living room. On it's second to lowest setting, it's still rather bright, the large LED numbers give off a lot of light. It's lowest setting is OFF! Not sure why you'd want that, but if it goes there during setup, like it did for me, you wonder what's going on! I ended up adding some colored film to the clock face to dim the numbers down to a reasonable level. Another "interesting" feature is - even in 12-hour mode, when it clicks past midnight, it shows "0:01" rather than "12:01" (photo). I'd wouldn't have noticed but I stayed up late that night! Odd for sure! An interesting clock that's trying hard, almost too hard. It'd be nice if it was just a clock with day / date / temp, and had light settings that allowed you to really control the LED lights down to a very dim level.

Title: Used at a Pickleball Timed Tournament
Review: I got this timer for our weekly Pickleball tournaments. We play 15 min rounds or 1st to 11pt which ever is faster. This works great. I like that you can adjust the brightness and colors. I can see the numbers just fine from 2 courts away. I like that it has a remote as well. It was easy to set the timer. It would've been MUCH better if it was rechargeable. I had to use powerbank to plug in the USB cable to power it up. We played for over 3hrs and it barely used up any of the powerbank. I still had all 4 lights full on the powerbank. I would still recommend cause it worked nicely for what I needed it for.

Title: Very good choice for setting timers
Review: I am primarily using the "countdown" function of this clock to time baking cookies that require being in the oven for a precise duration. I love the bright, large display and that the countdown resets to the time I entered once it reaches zero time left. There are a lot of other nice qualities, live setting voice, changing display color, using an app and more.My biggest complaint about this clock is that it has no battery back-up. Once it is unplugged to move, or in the event of a power outage, everything needs to be reset. For me that means 1) know where the remote is and 2) don't lose the instruction sheet. One other annoyance is the AAA batteries required for the remote are not included.Despite the two issues noted above, this clock is working well for me and I give it 4* (I Like It)
