Title: Very soft and comfortable
Review: I bought it for my daughter. She told me it was like sleeping in a hug so it sounds comfortable. It looks like good quality and value for money. The weight distribution is perfect. We live in a sub tropical country so it is hot but the heat level of the blanket is ok.

Title: Gift buy for my grandson
Review: I am not a person that could stand all the weight on me, but he loves it. I am not sure about how to wash it yet but it will really hold in the heat. Tested his body heat after being under for awhileBody temperature under this thing was 103 while his forehead not covered was 97.6 he loves it

Title: Good quality but skunk-like odor
Review: This weighted blanket appears to be well made and the fabric is soft to the touch. I can't speak to its effectiveness because I personally don't use this type of blanket. I bought this one to keep in our guest room. We have a family member who uses one and loves it. I bought this one to have on hand so they do not have to be concerned with bringing theirs when they come and visit. I was glad that I wasn't planning on using this right away because I was hit with a strong skunky odor immediately after opening the box. I spread the blanket out over a chair and sprayed it with some fabric freshening spray. The smell is dissipating and is smelling much better after airing out.
