Are you avoiding gluten but yearn for fresh bread, all your favorite takeaways or a naan bread with your curry? And for your sweet tooth do you crave jam doughnuts, bakery-style cookies and classic cakes?

How to Make Anything Gluten-Free is the first cookbook that shows you how to unlock all the food you truly miss eating – but nothing tastes or looks "gluten-free".

Becky Excell has spent years developing delicious dishes and sharing them with her followers on Instagram. She is here to show you that a gluten-free life can be exciting and easy, without having to miss out on your favorite foods ever again. Why restrict yourself to the obvious soups, salads and fruit? What you really want are the recipes that you think you can't eat! From proper chicken chow mein to pad thai, doughnuts to lemon drizzle cake, cheesecake to profiteroles, French baguettes to pizza, plus dairy-free, vegan, veggie and low FODMAP options, Becky gives you all the recipes you'll ever need with tips and advice on how to make absolutely anything gluten-free.

From the Publisher

gluten freegluten free

“Most people have a bucket list of things to do before they die. But not me. I have a bucket list of 100 things that I wish were gluten-free.

In the early years of being gluten-free, I’d naively try to replace wheat flour with gluten-free flour when following a recipe. Not surprisingly, I’d always end up wondering where it all went wrong and with a big mess to clear up. To truly get that happy ending, a gluten-free recipe needs to be its own unique story from start to finish.

But if you still believe it’s impossible to make anything gluten- free without compromise, that’s OK. Because once you take a bite of something you haven’t eaten in years and it tastes even better than you remember... you’ll be so happy that you won’t even mind me saying: ‘told you so’” – Becky Excell

Title: Great ideas
Review: If you're someone that can't process gluten you've realized that the American diet consists on gluten. How many days can you live without gluten? Think about the ads for food on billboards, or look in the cereal or frozen food aisles with options. This book tries reengineering favorite foods for gluten allergic options. I haven't tried any yet but I'm looking forward to eat tiramisu again

Title: I'm SO happy I bought this book!
Review: I'm so impressed! So far, I've used the focaccia recipe (which I topped with castelvetrano olives, grape tomatoes, diced salami, fresh mozzarella pearls, and rosemary) and the rough puff pastry recipe (for a mushroom & onion tart). They don't taste gluten-free, nor do they have that heavy, gummy texture associated with gluten-free. If I didn't know better having made both myself, I'd swear they weren't gluten-free. Both are pictured. I now have proof that you can have beautiful, delicious, flakey, gluten-free pastry! This opens up a whole new world of what's possible for me to make!! I'm definitely getting her other book.

Review: I bought this book because I just started living gluten free. I also have IBS and this book, although gluten free, also addresses IBS in many recipes. I have followed Becky on YouTube and have loved her recipes. I am also from England (now living in Canada) so am familiar with a lot of the mentioned recipes and ingredients. Not a lot of pictures but great recipes. Very nice book. Well worth the cost.

Review: Great book and a must for anyone not able to eat gluten! What makes this different from other books is that it focuses on all those things that Coeliac's normally can't touch and that you don't tend to find Gluten free alternatives for, like KFC or Chinese takeaway favourites, as well as your basics like good sandwich bread or cakes/desserts. Also doesn't use difficult techniques or hard to find ingredients (and I live in Spain). I bought this because my 6 year old son is coeliac and I would strongly recommend buying! It has made family meals easier and much more interesting!

Customers say
