The FIRST Wilde's book. Go back to where it all began... Jon Beatty thought he’d found the best man for him until Craig walked out. To add insult to injury, Craig's got a new lover—a woman—and wants Jon to be a different kind of best man…at his wedding. Reasoning that the only way to get over one man is to get under another, Jon heads out to Wilde’s, the night club on Capitol Hill famous for its hot clientele and hotter bartenders. Jon just wants to get drunk and get laid, and bartender Liam Sable is more than willing to help with both. Their one night stand turns into a rebound fling, but as Jon moves on with Liam, Craig starts having second thoughts about the break-up. His tiresome antics are the least of Jon and Liam’s worries, though. The least annoying, and the least dangerous… NOTE: This book was previously published.

Title: A breath of fresh air; romantic AND Passion-filled
Review: I really don't know why it's so important for others reviewing to include spoilers. I'm not going to (though God knows, if you read the majority of the reviews I've seen on here you're going to know just what happens or is said at some of the rather important moments during the journey between the two main characters). This is one of the best M/M romance stories I've read this month. (Understand that I only just began reading a lot again or I'd probably include this as one of the best stories I've read in six months.)It was easy for me to connect with the story because I've been in a "difficult" relationship or two of my own. I could relate to what Jon had gone through and as well, to a lesser degree what Liam was dealing with. I REALLY connected to the story because of the writer's ability to weave the romance in with the heated passion between these two men. If you're reading a review by someone else who describes this book as having too much graphic, sexual detail then you're reading a review by someone I'd consider to be a prude. LIFE includes sex! It doesn't (and probably shouldn't) have to be our every thought but we ARE sexual beings. It was nice to be able to fluctuate between getting into the stories of these two young men as they came out of bad relationships and began to heal, as they "attempted" to hold back the investment of their emotions in THIS new-found, unintended relationship AND between those hot and heavy, passion-filled moments we'd all like to experience with that one person who wants us as much as we want [him].I do agree with what another reviewer said about the end. The rest of the story took its time; it wasn't rushed and yet, it drew you in and kept you wanting for more. The close of the story was very much all too rushed. It was still engaging but it was almost like the author had decided she was tired of writing about Jon and Liam and just wanted to get the story finished as quickly as possible. (I also would have preferred that she'd made some effort to make Liam's twin brother more than simply a "one act introduction" in the book. There is really no way, in real life, that a twin wouldn't have been more involved with this brother's life. That alone was not a detraction from the book by any means; I just believe it could have been improved by including the twin more after his first introduction -- which caught me TOTALLY off-guard.)But seriously, I loved the book and it isn't often that I say such things. I'll likely read it again at a later date; it was that good (for me).

Title: Sweet
Review: A sweet and very hot book about two guys meeting on the rebound and falling in love. The book is a tad too PWP for my taste, but the characterizations of Jon and Liam make up for it. The plot isn't overly complicated, even with the drama in the last quarter, but the two men make it worth the read.

Title: Too Much Sex? That's the Point!
Review: I read the second edition which came out in January 2015 so I have no idea what was added or deleted from the 2013 version. Also, it is now promoted as Book #1 in the Wilde's series and seems to have been issued at the same time as the fifth book in the series, No Place That Far.Author Witt has noted that this series did not start out to be one, but as she wrote different books about the gay community in Seattle, all seemed to center around Wilde's, the sort of upscale cruising bar that serves as a catalyst for some of the stories. Since this one involves a bartender there (Liam) and a guy on the rebound (Jon) who happens to show up one night when Liam is on duty and no other characters from the sometimes interchangeable casts of the other books appear, this one has been dubbed the starting point. And like all the others so far, it's explosive. Turns out Liam is also rebounding, and you can pick up the potential plot very early and find much to quibble about when it comes to how these two can consummate their attraction to each other without crossing into a formal relationship. However, what I saw was a solid rendering of one of many themes in m/m romances: Hot to trot sex initiates, scares, but consumes the I-don't-want-a-boyfriend MCs--let's not be mistaken, there is a lot of sex here but it's integral to the plot.Even though you know where that may end up, author Witt has a sneaky way of getting there and throws in an epilogue which is an absolute hoot. I started this book an hour before dinner and after eating it only took until midnight to finish it, that's how fast paced--and good--it is. Enjoy!

Review: Awesome book. Jon's world turned upside down when his boyfriend Craig broke up with him. Now Craig is back after six month and asking Jon to be his best man when he marries his fiancé Rebecca. Jon agrees and Craig tells him more or less to get out and find someone new. Jon takes his advice and ends up at Wilde, hoping to find a one night stand.Liam is a bartender at Wilde and he has his gaze directed at Jon. Although Liam has problems with his ex, one night with Jon is what he wants. When one night turns into more for both men, evil is lurking in the dark getting ready to strike. This is a wonderful story and highly recommended.
