Review: I was surprised with how this worked. It cuts nicely and cleans up well because it comes apart. My only complaint is that there is still a significant amount of pineapple left attached to the rind that you really need to cut out otherwise you’d be wasting a lot of the fruit. But it makes nice Spiral circles

Title: Saw this used in Azores. If you like pineapple - get one
Review: The pineapples in The Azores are delicious. Pineapple cart workers cut the pineapple across the top then use this handy device to make a spiral rings with the core going into the shaft. Pull out the tool and you have cut and cored the pineapple. No loss of fingers!!Just reach in and break away the core. The cart folks blend the pineapple fruit and may add a bit of sugar, agave, rum or local liquors to the blend. Pour into the pineapple. Top with a straw and little umbrella.For the purist - I use the tool to oust the rings, cut into quarters, and place in storage container. YummyThe tool is terrific. The handle comes off for easy cleaning of the shaft.

Title: Great Product, Affordable Price
Review: For $7 this slicer is wonderful. It has a metal core rod with steady plastic clips securing the rod and handle together. I found it easy to twist and keep straight. The whole process was a breeze and much cheaper than store bought and much cleaner than using a knife. I can’t speak to longevity but so far it’s terrific.
