Title: So far so good
Review: I’ve only used it twice and it seems to work pretty well! I honestly prefer to use my own grounds versus the pods, it tastes better. Also, you can only buy certain Nespresso pods that work in this, make sure they’re the right ones. Also, as others have stated, it doesn’t stay charged very long if it has to boil the water during the brewing process. I was able to pull 3 shots before needing to do a recharge. Make sure you keep your charging cable close! It is easy to use though, being able to use your grounds is a great feature, and does make good crema!

Title: Easy to use
Review: Very easy to use with grounds or pods. Neat and easy to clean, especially when using pods. Packs up small for travel. It is a bit slow to charge but then makes espresso very quickly. I am very happy with it overall.

Title: Outin Nano: Break the Shackles of Corporate Coffee and Explore the Third Wave!
Review: I love flavored espresso, but I don't have access to a good espresso machine nor necessarily need one since I use use enhancers like Monin flavors. That's why I decided to try the Outin Nano, a portable electric espresso maker that claims to brew rich crema espresso with just one tap and is cost effective for my usage. The Outin Nano is very easy to use and convenient. It weighs less than 700g and fits in my backpack or suitcase. It has a long battery life that allows me to brew espresso for quite literally months since I preheat filtered water in a kettle.I started out with a cheap grinder from Amazon, but the results were all over the place and I’d end up with a pool of water. Since picking up the 1Zpresso X-Ultra coffee bean grinder it’s truly taken the Outin to the next level. I use a setting of 1.2 (one rotation on the 2 tick - in the Aeropress range according to the 1Zpresso manual) as using a fine grind typically used for Espresso results in an awful dishwater-like consistency.Of course, the Outin Nano is not exactly the same as a real espresso machine. It produces espresso at a much higher bar pressure than the standard 9 bar, which may affect the taste and extraction of some coffee varieties. It also has a limited water capacity of 80ml, which means I can only make two shots of espresso at a time. If I want a larger cup of coffee, I have to make another batch, but given my usage it’s generally irrelevant. However, these are minor drawbacks compared to the benefits of having an inexpensive, comparable espresso device . The Outin Nano is a great device for flavored espresso lovers seeking to break free from the shackles of corporate coffee while opening up a world of flavors in the third wave realm. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a smart and convenient way to brew espresso.

Title: End results amazing! A few issues to be improved
Review: Alright. I'm a lifelong espresso drinker. Every morning. I make my morning latte every day. Someone gave me a Vienna Plus espresso machine and it's saved my life and pocket book. The biggest problem I've had is when I go camping. I'd been doing those iced coffee Starbucks packets, but they were always so sweet and don't hit the mark for me. On my camping/road trips I spent too much of my budget just making sure I'm caffeinated. And now I'm not giving my money to Starbucks (union busting my friends in Seattle) so I looked for other options.I thought about upgrading my solar battery to a larger output so I could bring my Vienna Plus espresso machine, but that's ridiculous and big, and also expensive to upgrade to a high enough output. But I was tempted. Then someone mentioned this Outin compact espresso machine on their outdoorsy YouTube channel. (Modern Self Reliance) I don't think he was sponsored by them, but just wanted to give a review. I put it in my mind bank because it was $140 at the time. Honestly still a reasonable price with the results I have. But then it was on sale for Prime Day at $111. I thought I'd give it a shot (pun intended). They take returns if I don't like it.Let me tell ya.I was actually shocked. It might pull better shots than my Saeco Vienna Plus. And the espresso has a more sweet balance, which I like.Positives. Awesome shots, portable, charges fairly fast, but I recommend charging the night before if you have coffee dysfunction in the morning. It will use most of the battery for 3 shots. Works really well for iced latte.Negatives. Takes quite a while to heat up between shots (you can preheat the water to shorten this time). You need to watch out when you unload the spent coffee for the next shot because it can be really hot. The set up was confusing per the instructions and I needed to go to YouTube. There was a random piece that didn't seem to be needed and maybe I'll figure that out later. It says it takes Nespresso pods, but I absolutely could not figure out how to fit them in the space nor how it was supposed to puncture the pod, so I just cut open the pod and tamped the espresso directly in the device. At that point I may as well just buy pre-ground espresso for cheaper. Lesson learned. The instructions and pieces need to be color coded because all I can see in the pictures are "put this thing in this black cylindrical piece". Which is almost all of the pieces! Maybe it was my eyesight. Maybe it was my lack of having had coffee. But I can imagine someone with a disability finding this confusing. [Update: When I was fully caffeinated I realized the extra piece was the slot for the pods. D'oh! See, this is why they should be color coded. But crisis averted for the rest of the trip. Which went great except for one particularly cold morning and the water was too cold to heat up the 3 double shots I was pulling. Pre heating the water is a good idea if you can.]Overall, despite those negatives, I recommend this device for those who have roughed it when going camping and hate that part of camping without a comforting espresso. It's a nice little luxury amongst bugs and the 100°+ weather at Lake Siskiyou that we are being cursed with.Dare I say I might even be tempted to use this at home as well. Maybe. It does take a lot longer. But I really like the flavor of the shots. Highly impressed!

Review: Imagine showing this device to some Astoria barista 50 years ago. It's an espresso machine that fits in your pocket, and so far it's been producing beautiful results.Back during covid I gave up buying coffee on the road; I just can't justify spending $3.50 for crappy, watered down brew. I bought a car kettle thermos and had kept a jug of water and half a dozen Via instant coffees in the car. It worked well enough, but instant coffee - even Via - is so deeply unsatisfying.I can't wait to travel with this thing!
