The easy to read display and large glove-friendly buttons make the BackTrack Mini a must-have for hitting the trail. BackTrack Mini gives you elevation gain and decline as well as barometric pressure. It also gives you the day's sunrise and sunset as well as moonrise and moonset
No expensive batteries required with the BackTrack Mini. Simply charge it with any Micro USB and you're ready to go.

Title: My experience was troublesome.
Review: Returned two that didn't work. Lots of button pushing just to get it to record a track, then lots of button pushing to download a track.

Title: DO NOT BUY THIS, until you read my LONG REVIEW
Review: The unit is surprisingly small, a plus AND a minus. It is light and fits in the palm of your hand but that makes the display very small and difficult to read unless you have great eyesight. The buttons require a firm press. With that all said, the unit itself "appears" to work as advertised. But that's where anything good to say ends...This GPS is dependent on the phone app working for most of its functionality. And the phone app is CURRENTLY NOT WORKING. In reviews of the app, you can see that all but 1 person said they get an "unexpected error" message when trying to create an account or log in via the app. I made several calls to Bushnell tech support and sat on hold for nearly 45 minutes and spoke with 3 different people who basically couldn't help me. I finally spoke with someone, 4 hours in and after 2 days of calling, who admitted that the app didn't work and that the developers "no longer worked there" so there is no ETA on getting the app working...So don't buy one of these units, UNLESS you download, install and test the app on your phone first.

Title: Very small which has pros and cons
Review: This is a rudimentary device - small and portable. I didnât like it much until I really figured out what and how some of the fun work - the manual is poor. However I now âget itâ and I love it. It just saved me from a tricky situation after getting disoriented in the desert at night. This thing pointed me right back to the car without issue.

Title: Would definitely buy again
Review: Wanted something simple, small, dependable and within my price range. Shopped around a bit. Saw the d tour mini. I couldnât be happier. I do a lot of trail running and day hiking and wanted a compact GPS to give me 2 bits of information. 1- the direction of the truck. I drop a waypoint at the truck. Head out. Pull out the DTour. It tells me (point to point) the direction of the car and as a bonus the number of feet to it. Does not tell me if there is a lake or mountain in between but thatâs fine with me. All I wanted was the direction. 2- longitude and latitude. Incase I need help (and have cell phone reception) I can call for help and give them my location. Thatâs all I was looking for in a GPS and it this does it perfectly. It does more like breadcrumbs, temp, etc but again I donât care.

Title: You Get What You Pay For
Review: This is a you-get-what-you-pay-for device. It adequately fulfils what I needed a GPS for, which was as a safety device to be able to verify that I've been travelling in the direction that I expected and to be able to retrace my path, and fulfils my preference for a GPS with a re-chargeable battery. On the down side, it is somewhat difficult to use, with the buttons being hard to press, and significantly over-estimates distance travelled (by an inconsistent amount that has ranged up to 60 percent more than the listed distances in trail guides). It also reported the elevation at High Point, New Jersey as 2023 feet, which is slightly more than 200 feet higher than the official elevation.
