Title: Great Beginner Drone!
Review: Lots to like on this compact drone! The photo and video quality is awesome. I’m very impressed with how well it captures pics. One short press for a photo, or one long press for a video; it’s very easy to use! All the pics and vids go directly to your phone, as well as being stored on the app and in the mini SD card. The drone only weighs 216 grams - well under the FAA registration requirement, so NO FAA registration is necessary. The Controller is ergonomically designed with comfortable folding handles. The app connects easily, and works very well, as does the app’s Wi-Fi - I had no problems at all connecting each time I flew. I also like that the drone comes with two batteries of 22 minutes of flying time each. The drone flys easily, although in moderate winds, it swayed a bit since it is so light. The drone is very fun to fly, and is packed with features: Follow Me, Orbit Flight, Multi-Point Flight, and much more. I like the “Gesture Photo and Video” feature where pics and vids occur by you holding up two fingers for pics, and five fingers for vids. Very cool. The camera adjustment wheel works well, but has an annoying beep that I am getting used to. In all, I love this drone and recommend it highly!

Review: Solid Drone for beginners with great features. I've been using the WeFone WF40 for a few days now, and I'm pretty impressed! A lot of times these types of drones don't deliver, but this one has a ton of features and they all acted work! I have been very happy and it's been fun to play around with the different geatures.The 4K camera quality is excellent, and the footage is super smooth thanks to the 2-axis gimbal and EIS. Setup was straightforward, and the GPS with auto-return gives me peace of mind while flying. It’s also easy to carry around because it’s foldable. The two batteries give you about 44 minutes of flight time, which is plenty for a session.The 5G transmission works well, with minimal lag during FPV flights. It’s definitely beginner-friendly but still packs in some advanced features. If you’re new to drones, this one is a great place to start.Only things to suggest:Would be nice if it included a micro SD card with the droneBattery life is closer to 15 minutes which is still plentyCalibration can take a while and is a bit picky

Title: Stay away...
Review: I did not have a good experience with this drone...the drone is slow to responding to input from the controls....drone loses fpv feed constantly....will lose wifi connection frequently....another weird thing that happened that convinced me to return it was I had the drone about 6 feet up and about 4 feet away from me and I went to adjust the camera angle and the remote made this loud annoying beeping noise and the camera didn't move .. instead it went into return to home and shot up to about 100 feet and I had no control....it did finally land but I had absolutely no control of it during that process.... right after it landed I boxed it back up and returned it for a refund....i should add that tech support did reach out and offer suggestions on fixes...they even offered a replacement or a discount on a different model.

Title: Quality camera and Gps made this a great choice
Review: I purchased a WeFone WF40 drone as a perfect way to bond with my 9 year-old grandson r This is most definitely a step above a beginner drone. For this price point it has a much better camera then others I have tried. It downloads videos and photos right to my phone. Once we read the directions it easily flew even even with a breeze. First flight around the neighborhood proved that the drone is easy to control.I picked the WF40 mainly because of the GPS. Tracking the drone was easy and the one button “return to home” feature worked flawlessly. After a few flights I confirmed that the drone would return to me on command. The GPS makes a significant difference when buying a drone!The WF40 comes with 2 batteries which gave us plenty of flight time – the drone remained stable throughout our first outing. The controller is easy to use and my iPhone 16 Pro Max fits in the controller so that I can see what the drone is seeing in real time. Happy with the choice.

Title: Doesn't work
Review: I had such high expectations for this drone, what a disappointment! The app was impossible to pair with the drone. When I finally got everything set up and paired, the app would unpair. When all else failed I decided to fly it without wifi or pairing with the app. The instructions direct you to toggle the joystick down and out and the drone will hoover. That is not the case when you are only using the remote. I had no control over it and it crashed. I needed this for work and decided it wasn't worth keeping if I couldn't fly it. I returned it and spent the extra money on a DJI Maveric. Maybe good for someone with experience.
