Title: Great 2 Pack Deal & Quality Device!!
Review: This is such a great deal! It’s sold as a 2 pack, but each one is individually packaged, so it's a nice way to give these to multiple people as a gift, or buy one for yourself & give the other to someone else-(much cheaper then buying two separately). I have seen the square designed ones in the store & thought to myself, what a great idea/concept, but to me, they felt somewhat lightweight, cheaply made & imo, a little confusing to use/understand. When I came across this style on amazon, not only did I personally like the longer design-(to me, it looked sleeker & more space efficient), it also seemed to be more straight to the point & easier to understand & use-with each side having its own purpose. I ultimately decided to purchase these because of the style, the amount of great reviews it had & it being a better value packaged as a two pack. I was really happy when I received these-They were a lot better then I had expected!! They have a comfortable grip, they're heavy/sturdy, but not too heavy-as they are easy to hold. This is something that I’d feel comfortable giving to a younger & an older family member as well. To me, this feels & looks like a higher quality product then the square ones, something that will hold up longer, also something I feel I'd want in an emergency situation & that I could depend on. The square ones may look "cute" with the variety of colors & maybe a little more attractive then these bright orange ones, but, I figure this will be stashed away & not in sight, so "being cute" was less important to me personally then something that I feel is actually a better product. This seems like something that a first responder/emt would use...not a cute pink pocket sized plastic tool & that eases my mind. I like that this isn’t bulky, even with it's longer design-it’s still slim-so this can easily be stashed away in your glove box, your divider or under your seat & won't take up space. This also seems a lot easier to understand & use & in thinking about it, if you ever get stuck in an emergency situation that you would need to use something like this, in that moment-you most likely won't be thinking clearly, you'll be panicked & needing to think & react quickly-so the easier to understand & use a device like this, the better. I actually decided to purchase more of these after receiving them & seeing the quality & I’m planning on giving one to everyone in my family who drives to keep in their car...I hope that we’ll never need to use this & be in that type of situation, but now have a peace of mind in knowing that, just in case, it's available if needed….I had a friend who passed away in a car accident years ago & due to the situation, I feel, if they would have had something like this in their car to break the window, they could have possible survived, so I now think of this as a “must have” for anyone who drives to have in their vehicle! For few dollars, this little device could possibly be the difference in life or death situation & as scary as that is to think about, as the saying goes, “It’s better to be safe, than sorry”. I would highly recommend this & I am very happy with my purchase! Definitely planning to buy more!

Title: Came as Expected
Review: I have not had to use this product in the 2 years I've owned them- and I hope never to need to-, but everyone should have some of these in their vehicle just in case.Pros: They are sturdily built and durable. They are bright orange (easy to see in an emergency situation). They not only have a hammer end to bust a window out, but a covered blade end to cut a seatbelt away. The fact that it came with two is definitely a bonus. We keep one by our passenger door and one under the driver seat.Cons: The plastic casing that they fit in does not seem very easy to use. I just took them out of the case for my purposes. For one thing, with the case on, they are more bulky. For another, they are little hard to get out of the case which in an emergency does not seem to be ideal. Perhaps if you were going to mount them somewhere in a truck or jeep the case would be more useful.

Title: Great!
Review: It is difficult to review this as a product since I haven't been in a situation where I've needed to actually use it and hopefully won't find myself in such a situation any time soon. However, the price paid for the two was a steal! I used to keep something similar to these in my previous vehicle, but the other one was made of a translucent plastic and felt cheap when held. These do not feel cheap and are brightly colored so that they should be easily identifiable in case of an emergency. Each tool comes with its own storage base that can be wall mounted, however I don't see the purpose of the bases nor do I use them. I keep one of the tools in my glove compartment and the other one in the pouch behind my front passenger seat (for possible use by rear-seated passengers). Both areas, of course, have limited space so the storage bases would only add unnecessary bulk. If these tools are for use during an emergency to escape a dangerous situation in a vehicle, why in the world would they be mounted on a wall somewhere??Edit: okay I realize now that the base is for use with mounting the tool inside the vehicle in case of a roll over. That does make a world of sense, however I can't see myself damaging my brand new vehicle for this (call me crazy).

Title: Good buy
Review: Great safety item for your car. Includes a mounting bracket if you want to mount it somewhere inside your car. While I haven't had a need to use it, the design seems very sound. The handle is a nice ergonomic design. The handle is a solid plastic, that I hope does not get brittle over time. Some more rubber in the handle would have given me a little more confidence in that. A pop up pin at the top, to shatter glass, would have been a nice addition if you don't have space or arm strength to swing hammer.

Title: Every car should have one or two of these on board.
Review: I bought two sets of these to put in my grown kids' stockings for Christmas. A few months ago, during the high heat of summer, my daughter was loading her little boys into their van and after she got one strapped in his car seat and shut the door and was walking around to the other side to strap in the second toddler, said toddler locked her out of the car. He didn't know how to unlock the doors and she immediately called the fire department who broke the window for her. By this time the boys were pouring sweat and crying. I bought these to make sure that she has one handy -- and while if the tool is in the glove compartment, she would be unable to get it while locked outside the car, this could save them someday if they ever get in a situation where they need to break a window to escape as they live near the Mississippi River. Also, the tool to cut seatbelts that is part of this tool can save lives too. My husband had to cut a seat belt off a boy once who had wrapped it around his neck and then had it tighten up (boys will be boys). The boy was on a bus that stopped on the highway when the boy became stuck and the bus driver had no scissors or pocket knife. My husband, who had been in the car behind the bus, was able to free the child with his pocket knife.
