Review: If you’ve never purchased one of these, treat yourself to one of the best values you could ever spend money on. I’m replacing a very similar model that I purchased years ago and I’ve used so often. It makes the most delicious, soft boiled eggs, which is very convenient because when I boil eggs, I feel like I need to make a whole bunch to justify the effort. You can do one egg or two eggs or six eggs. And it can make many different types of eggs, but in particular, it also steams vegetables, and I have found this to be the most useful tool. I bought it on a whim as I often experiment with things, and who knew so many people have them. I absolutely love this device and it’s very low power consumption. It’s kind of like one of those children’s ovens. It’s a wonderful thing and very healthy to steam vegetables. I absolutely love it and I’m very happily replacing my old unit.

Review: Fraction of the cost of our old Cuisanart egg cooker. Works just as well. Eggs cooked in less time than it takes to bring water to a boil. No need for ice bath. I just set egg tray in pan of tap water til cool. Much much easier to peel. Been using for a year with no issues.

Review: I am totally in love with my egg cooker. It is an incredibly simple and useful tool to make cheap, fast, and easy nutritious breakfasts. I initially bought it for the egg poaching feature, which is awesome, but now I am using the omelette making tray everyday. I just whisk 3 eggs with some Cajun seasoning, a little cooking spray in the tray and I have a tasty and nutritious breakfast in about 5 minutes. I have been using it every for about 3 months and it has been extremely reliable. No issues. It has been extremely helpful in making a fast breakfast when I get home, so I’m not tempted to buy fast food. It is compact and fairly easy to clean.

Review: The Good:1. Cooks eggs quickly, the fewer, the quicker2. Also saves time by not needing to bring eggs to room temp before boiling.3. Cute little design.4. The one I received doesn't make much noise, unsure if product changed after reviews complaining of piercing noise or if mine is defective, I'm happy to use another timer so this isn't an issue if its actually defective.5. Convenient pin built under measuring cup for piercing eggs, though I didn't notice it immediately because I was scanning instructions & box quickly.6. Saves energy, I'm in Arizona and the last thing I want to do is heat up the kitchen boiling water, our air conditioning is stretched as it is without adding any extra heat.7. Takes up very little counter space or space in the cupboard.8. Item as described.Potential issues for some users:1. The more eggs you cook, the longer it takes so cooking time for 7 large hard cooked eggs is 17 minutes. Still less time than the time for I've made them in the past, waiting for water to boil, then allowing to sit for 22 min...2. Extra large or jumbo eggs take more water and time to cook, though manual doesn't provide the amount of water for cooking them (the time is determined by how long it takes the cooker to boil out all the water evidently).3. The metal tray will have cooked on mineral deposits unless distilled water is used. I was able to wipe off the brown mineral deposit easily with a damp dish rag after unplugging & shortly after done cooking. There were some small clouded rings that I didn't worry about. The instructions suggesting cleaning off mineral deposits with white vinegar.4. If you're used to bringing eggs to room temp before cooking hard cooked eggs, it could throw off the cooking time since that is calculated with cold eggs.5 They also note that if your refrigerated eggs are colder than most, it could take longer. Perhaps it makes a difference using organic free range, though I'm not an egg connoisseur so don't really know.Usually, I use an egg slicer to cut eggs for egg salad, once horizontally and a 2nd time vertically. However, when without an egg slicer, I just sliced in bowl with a couple of knives to medium size crumbles and preferred the texture better.For fancy egg salad add some cashew halves or coarsely chopped cashews, other nuts may work as well. Note that the nuts will soften if left in egg salad for a prolonged time so if you want the crunch, just add nuts to the amount of egg salad you'll be consuming at the time.

Review: Me impresionó lo pequeño y la poca agua que usa pero estoy muy satisfecha, importante leer muy bien las instrucciones ya que dice que para una consistencia más dura debes dejar reposar 2-3 minutos una vez que suena el aparato, yo estaba haciendo pochados y por distraerme a preparar los panes olvidé sacarlos y ya se me estaban cociendo, pero al comerlos la yema aún tenía un poco de la consistencia que debería tener 🤭. Será cuestión de seguir experimentando pero para ser el primer uso cumple bien.En tiempo en 7minutos exactos sonó. Al terminar fué muy fácil de lavar y guardar.
