Title: Be aware of the online product registration process
Review: The Dell Vostro Desktop arrived when it was expected. I have had it up and running for a couple of days now. I like that it is a lot faster than my older HP desktop.Here are the things you should be aware of if you buy this pc, however.1. There is zero documentation that comes with this pc, other than the standard piece of paper that states it follows the FCC requirements. Once you have it hooked up, you turn it on, and the Windows 11 installation software takes over. You follow the prompts to install and launch Windows 11.2. I decided to register the computer with Dell for if it ever needed service. The Dell site requires you to transfer ownership from the Seller (in this case Dell) to yourself. This is not documented anywhere. Once the transfer is submitted online, you are given a Confirmation number, and email notification will be sent to you once the request for transfer has been reviewed by Dell. If you don't follow these steps, you will not get anywhere with Dell Service should you have an issue. BTW, the registration service tag on the pc shows that it comes from United Arab Emirates.3. It does come with a dvd +/-RW (not mentioned in the explanation of this pc's features). I have yet to use it though.
