The CompVR 12-Inch Subwoofer is a 2Ω dual voice coil design, built for easy wiring.

This subwoofer uses a large-diameter, progressive-roll spider and a Santoprene surround for truly linear cone movement. All this technology creates outstanding bass in a subwoofer built to make the mirrors shake.

Title: Neighbors loved it so much they invited the cops to listen too!
Review: This speaker replaced my Kicker CV-12 300 Watt Max with a single voice coil and the dual voice coils are wired in series inside of the CV's Kicker box for a 1-Ohm resistance and then connected to a 400 Watt Kicker CVX Mono Amplifier which is rated at 400 Watts RMS but measuring with a volt meter has shown actual output at 1 Ohm is actually around 520 which is just barely over this speakers recommend Max RMS which allows me to get the full output power of my amp and it is almost like the amp and the speaker are made for one another! One day soon I plan on trading in my 400 Watt CVX for an 800 Watt one and on that day I will most certainly be buying another one of these! I bought it because my 12" CV had a 4-Ohm voice coil which meant that the amp was only able to give it 150 Watts of RMS and caused it to feel underwhelming, upon removal of that speaker and addition of this one with its duals wired in series I went from just hearing the bass, to actually feeling the bass and you can continue to feel it up to 250' away at half volume, its getting 3 times the wattage and giving me 4 times the volume and 5 times the sound quality and allows me to absolutely crank up the Amy's gain and bass boost as high as it will go! My neighbors loved how it sounded so much first they threw a rock through my window to hear better and then they invited the cops so they could listen to how good it sounded also! The cop awarded me with a blue ribbon with my name on top that they signed and gave me a date to show up at their sound competition, they checked the name of it on the ribbon also as "Noise Ordinance" I think I'm gonna win $500!

Title: I'd use 10guage wire and a ported MDF box
Review: This thing kicks like a mule!!! Get the right amp and box and this speaker hits like there are two 12s. Im running a Boss 1100watt peak mono amp at half power to keep my rear view mirror from shaking out of place! I need a 10-12 Guage wire for the speaker, i burned through a 16 in about 10 days running the amp at full power.

Review: Great product. A bit expencive.The only issue ive had is its REALLY picky about what amp you use. My kenwood 2 ohm amp works on evey 2 ohm sub i have exept for the kicker. I had to use a seperat 2 ohm amp so i cant push it at full wattage right now

Review: This delivered in about 24hrs. I bought this to replace a 4ohm 10" CompC and I couldn't be happier. I saw another review that said, "this thing hits like 2 12's," and they were absolutely correct. I have this wired in parallel at 1ohm. It literally blows away the old speaker.

Title: Blown doesn't work
Review: I'm disappointed.I just bought it new and it was blown. It just arrived in the mail and the suspension is stuck. It also turns my stereo off.
