Title: Worked like a charm!
Review: I make hot apple cider every year and needed a way to make less of a mess (and easy clean up) when I steep the cinnamon sticks, mulling spice, and oranges. These were a miracle for me! Easy to use, easy to clean. Great price too!

Title: Perfect for culinary use
Review: I make infused honey with these and the flavor quality is very rich. These muslin bags are very sturdy, especially after multiple hand-washings. I also use them for loose tea and so far, I’ve not had any issues with staining or residual smells from previous usage. Very happy!

Title: These are good quality teabags, even though I use them for making Kefir.
Review: I don't actually make a lot of tea, and I largely use premade teabags if I do, but I did order them with something else in mind, and so far, I love them for the purpose.I have tried several different methods for making kefir milk, including letting them freely in the milk, and a stainless steel tea cage. I've not broken down and bought the plastic basket someone makes, because it was like $37. They don't recommend stainless steel for kefir grains, for some reason though, and it seemed a little inflexible. When I saw this cheese cloth type tea bags, I thought this seems like a possibility for making kefir milk where I can put get it into the jar, and it allows for free access for the process to happen, and some better expansion as kefir grains grow from feeding on the milk.Bottom line is, so far so good. They do have bags in several sizes, but this one seems like the right size for what I do with kefir. I might get some larger ones to make kefir cheese though. I use cheesecloth now for that purpose, but it might be easier using the larger cheesecloth bags from this manufacturer for that process, but I have to cut all the time and it seems wasteful, and you get some threads from cutting the cloth to the size you need. But for my use, this size seems to work well, as it saves me from trying to strain the grains out of the far more viscous texture of fermented milk through a sieve and then picking them out without squishing them, or otherwise damaging them. Now I can just open the pouch and remove how much of the kefir grain I want. I noticed this batch grew a lot in this batch, and I'll have to split it and create a new ferment bag. But that is what you want to happen. They look like good enough cloth I should be able to get multiple batches from them with gentle washing, although you don't have to do that every time since you remove from fermented milk and put it in fresh milk. I still do change it out tho and wash grains sometimes. These teabags are well worth the price, and I am going to try these next with the water kefir grains I have. It might be even more useful with those since they tend to multiply, and they are kind of translucent so it would be nice to have them contained, even if it is easier to strain water than milk kefir.

Title: Not too pleased.
Review: While I like that the bags are large since I make about a quart of tea at a time, I feel that the tea does not diffuse into the water as readily as a normal tea bag does. Thus, I’m wasting some very expensive tea since I have to use more to get the proper strength.

Title:
Review: These cotton tea/spice bags are fantastic. I find regular tea balls and spoons frustrating since there is always some fine particulate that finds its way into the water. That's not a problem with these cottton tea bags. They are a good size and work really well. I like that I can rinse and reuse them.I would note as others have, that you should tie the end of the strings together before use or you might find yourself trying to fish them back through the loop at a later date. The bags are made of a cotton material similar to cheese cloth. I don't believe the string is 100 percent cotton ( I held a flame to it and created a sticky end similar to nylon).
