Review: 5 stars for being perfectly round, quality bouncing, nice grip and shoot-ability. Pump is cheap, but functional. Bought this for my 4 year old boy who attends park district basketball camp, because I didn't want to spend $80 on an NBA style ball, and I wanted my son to be able to quickly identify his basketball among the other 70 kids' at camp.

Title: High quality, yet SMALLER sized basketball
Review: I actually did not realize when I ordered this basketball that it was smaller than a standard sized basketball. THANKFULLY, it was for my 8 year old grandson, so that ended up being a non-issue, because that is the size ball he needs to be using anyway. Whew! As far as pumping it up, he literally did that within seconds within the blink of my eye - so apparently the pump works well and fast too, without any issues at all. I had also ordered him a metal wall mount basketball holder for his ball, and even though it holds standard size adult basketballs, it also holds this one just as well. So that's good too. I got lucky! The bounce is also good quality (which is what is MOST important) and because my grandson also loves to draw and loves the color black, the cool artwork pattern is also fantastic...much better than just a plain old, traditional, rusty orange color. He's a happy boy and I'm a happy grandmother...so I can say with confidence that if you need to buy a basketball for a child yourself, you can't go wrong with this one! It's awesome!

Review: I bought two of these basketballs as gifts for my GRANDsons ages 7 and 10. They both LOVE these basketballs! Smiles__ Youth Size, means it is 27.5 inches, so it is smaller than an official 29.5 inch, meaning smaller hands will be able to handle this smaller basketball__ The grip is good without being sticky__ The design is so FUN!__ Included in the purchase was a hand pump with two needles, which can be stored in the designated openings at the top of the pump, making it easier to never wonder What did I do with that basketball needle. Ha__ BOTTOM LINE: Only GOOD things to say about this basketball, and I would definitely re-purchase.
