Title: Formative Fantasy
Review: I first read The Thief in middle school and it was so stunning that I have remembered and regularly referenced it ever since. It was nice to be able to purchase a digital set to add to my kindle library so I can access it at any time.

Title: Absolutely loved all these books
Review: Incredibly rich world. Characterizations have depth and subtlety with multiple complex motivations for people's actions. Absolutely loved all these books! The hardback versions were works of art. This kindle collection had no typos. Spacing was off a bit for the fables - The verse spacing was the one thing that didn't translate well to kindle. Content was unaffected.

Title: Great adventure stories.
Review: Megan Whalen Turner writes thrilling stories. They capture your attention and suck you in. They are set in a time of swordsmen and ancient guns. They provide a captivating adventure and you can't wait until the next book to see what the characters do. Every book is a priceless jewel.

Title: Almost Brilliant
Review: This series is almost brilliant. Books 1, 3 and 4 are excellent. The characters, relationships, and world building are all fabulous. I gave the series 4 stars because they are just that good. But books 2 and 5 are unforgivably bad. Book 2 is simply not constructed well in terms of plot. The "big twist" is not satisfying at all. It's disappointing because it was not set up well. And Book 5 doesn't have a plot "big enough" to be a novel. Most of it is a travel log without real purpose. Finally, I would recommend buying the 6 book series instead of this one. This set is incomplete. Likely published before the 6th was released.

Review: Well-written; the first four books are excellent. The fifth felt like it plodded until it neared the end -- it was a bit light on political intrigue. I hope there's a sixth book forthcoming, would like to read more about the monarchs of these three kingdoms.

Review: I love the books about the thief, had most of them in hardcover, but bought this set for my kindle for the holidays. It includes a few short stories that weren't in the books as well. And reading them all again was so great, I could take the time to appreciate all the characters properly and was still waiting gleefully for all the twists to happen
