Review: I purchased this as a gift for Valentine’s Day. My package arrived on time. The package was NOT damaged it was double-boxed. My man is a tequila drinker so I thought this would be a fun activity for us to do! He loves it! We both were very impressed with the presentation of the packaging nothing was broken. Review: This DO YOUR TEQUILA Infusion kit is a great gift for a tequila lover. When I review gifts I like to give you the recipient’s opening experience. The box comes with a bright pink branded ribbon like paper wrap around it. I had to rip it in order to remove it. Inside the box you’ll find beautifully presented bottles, iridescent shot glasses, wood and cork bottle stoppers, glass vials full of infusion options, filters, an instructions pamphlet and 2 additional resource cards. See photos for how it looked when I opened it.The instruction pamphlet is really a small book. It gives the history of tequila, instructions and some recipes to try. I was confused because the book says to grind botanicals before infusing but doesn’t recommend how to grind ingredients like bark. I’ll have to get creative.The bottles are heavy and good quality and I love how you can customize the label by checking off which vial you infused the tequila with.When I first saw the box I thought it would be a perfect bachelorette party gift but it would be even more fun if the host could make some infusions before the party because some take a few days to develop.The kit is clearly marketed towards women but I think my husband id going to enjoy infusing some good tequila with me.

Review: For the adventurous and those who like to experiment, infusing your liquors with different flavors is a fantastic way to find new and exciting flavor combinations. Although this kit is labeled for tequila, in reality, you can use almost any liquor to test the effects of different herbal and spice infusions. Included are 12 different flavorings which range from woodchips to orange peels to salt. You can try just one, or different combinations. The recipe book includes 25 different recipes to try, but you don't need to be limited to the ones that they list. You can also experiment with the length of time for infusions to see what gives you the flavor you enjoy the best. Helpfully, they include two bottles to hold your infused tequila. The spice wheel can give you ideas about not just how to use the included flavorings, but what else you have in your pantry.This is a great kit to experiment with friends and family. Then, you can use the rating cards to jointly give your feedback on different fusions. This makes for a great gift as well.

Man kann aber die gelegentliche Langeweile oder Gewöhnung beim Trunke durchaus sehr originell aufpeppen. Und dafür ist dieses Sert bestens geeignet. Was für Ginfreunde schon lange vorhanden ist, kann man hier nun auch mit Tequila tun: das Experiment mit den Botanicals wagen. Die 12 Kräuter und Gewürze sind sehr gut für das Destillat abgestimmt und, den Tequila selbst ausgenommen, bekommt man hier alles, was nötig ist für das eigene Mazerieren oder Botanicalisieren. Inklusive eines kleine, aber feinen Heftes mit nützlichen Informationen. Für Menschen, die Freude an kreativer Geschmacksvervielfältigung haben ein schönes Geschenk.

Außerdem wird ein Rezeptheft mitgeliefert, und Karten für die eigenen Kreationen, zum Notieren.Aus der Beschreibung geht klar hervor, dass hier kein Alkohol enthalten ist, sondern, dass man seinen Lieblingtequila selbst verbessern oder aromatisieren kann. Will man es also verschenken, packt man am Besten gleich eine Flasche dazu.Das Set ist wirklich hochwertig, liebevoll zusammengestellt und macht einen sehr schönen Eindruck.Als Geschenk ist das wirklich enorm gut geeignet und die Verpackung ist auch direkt zum Verschenken gedacht.

Review: Über das Amazon-Vine-Programm durfte ich mir das Tequila-Set DO YOUR TEQUILA des Anbieters Craftly zum Testen bestellten. Ich selbst trinke keinen Alkohol, aber ich finde solche „Spielereien“ immer ganz wunderbar zum Verschenken.Im Set enthalten, sind 12 Gewürze, diese da wären Zimtrinde, Orangenschale, Limetten-Puder, hawaiianisches Salz, Jalapenos, Zitronengras, Kaffeebohnen, Hibiskusblüten, dunkle Schokolade, Vanille, dann noch zwei Dinge, die ich per Google übersetzen musste, hier das seltsame Ergebnis: „Schmetterlingserbse“ und „Amerikanischer Schatz“. Was auch immer hinter den beiden Zutaten stecken mag. Dann sind zwei kleinere Flaschen inkl. Verschlüssen da, zwei Schnapsgläser, ein Rezeptheftlein, ein „Gewürzrad“ und ein Kärtchen auf welches man seine erfolgreichsten Mischungen notieren kann.Insgesamt finde ich das Set echt großartig, das hier kein Alkohol enthalten ist, war mir von vornherein klar, das ist bei allen Infusion Kits so. Somit war ich hiervon nicht überrascht und schon gar nicht enttäuscht. Das Set ist ja dafür gedacht, dass jeder seinen Lieblings-Tequila aromatisieren kann. Denn hat der zu Beschenkte dann entweder im Haus oder man muss halt noch eine Flasche dazukaufen. Aber da hört das Ganze dann auch auf lustig zu sein, denn eine Flasche Tequila kostet dann gut nochmal ab 13,00 Euro aufwärts. Also, ja, auch mir ist das Set zu teuer, aber klasse ist es trotzdem. So vergebe ich immerhin noch vier Sterne.

Review: Wenn man dieses Set verschenken möchte, sollte man schon noch eine Flasche guten weißen Tequila dazu packen, was dann den Preis wohl noch einmal um etwa 30 € in die Höhe schrauben würde. Sicher macht sich der Hersteller darüber keine Platte, sondern verlässt sich ganz auf den Käufer. Vielleicht schreckt dieser Preis dann doch manchen Unschlüssigen ab. Zu recht.Entscheidet man sich dann jedoch für die knapp 80 € des Gesamtpakets, dann macht man dem Empfänger vielleicht eine Freude, sollte der tatsächlich experimentierfreudig sein. Ich finde die Idee hinter diesem Set wirklich gut, doch der Preis ist leider etwas zu hoch.Was man neben den Flaschen und Gläsern hier erhält, sind aromatisierende Zutaten, die dem weißen Tequila eine gewisse andere Note nach eigenen Vorstellungen geben soll. Ob das allerdings gelingt, muss sich bei jedem Experiment erst noch zeigen. Schließlich gehört auch das Risiko des Versagens zum Versuch Neues zu schaffen. Möglicherweise bekommt man so aber auch Respekt vor den Herstellern aromatisierten Tequilas, die solche Experimente bereits hinter sich haben.
