Title: Very pleased with this product
Review: To start with I'll tell you what kind of dog I have, I have a standard poodle. Her hair will start twisting at a quarter of an inch and if she's allowed to grow to an inch she'll actually have the beginning of dreadlocks. So it's not an easy coat to cut. I've groomed dogs for a lot of years and the best Clipper I ever used was an Oster motor driven Clippers with interchangeable blades, it lasted forever and it was easy to use. However it's also extremely expensive, back when I bought it it was close to $300. I've tried a lot of Clippers since then most with little to no success. When I saw this Clippers I read through a lot of the reviews which were mixed but it was a moderately priced Clipper so I thought what the heck let's give it a try. I have to say I was extremely surprised and pleased with this Clippers. It cut through my dog's coat with ease it did not pull, or tangle in the blades. Using just the blade without the guards you get a clean cut, rather like a 10 blade or a surgical blade. In other words if you're on familiar with the terminology the dog is basically naked, which is what I used on her face and feet and it worked super well. For her body I use the 3mm guide and it left very short hair and was easy to use. The blade snap in firmly do not wiggle or become loose. I had read some of the reviews at the guide slipped off, I can't help but wonder if that person didn't actually snap the guide into place firmly. I had no trouble at all with the guide. Another big plus to this Clippers was the blade did not get hot, the instructions say it is a ceramic blade which would understandably be why the blade not get hot. I was very impressed. My only suggestion for anyone buying this Clippers is if you are unfamiliar how to use a Clippers with a close cut or a blade take some time and familiarize yourself with how to use a clippers. Because of the close blade if you hold that Clippers at the wrong angle you will get too close to the skin, and if you're using a guide and you don't know how to use a guide the hair will not cut well. But that's with any Clippers not just this one. So like I said take some time watch a few videos on how to hold and use a Clippers and I think you will be very satisfied with this product. I am. I would recommend this product highly, excellent Clippers no skin burning guides fit well and I would buy again.

Title: Great quality for the price! Works well on long hair
Review: I have a sheepdog/poodle who ends up with very long hair and these have cut right through them. I had a hard time finding an affordable pair of clippers for dogs with long hair, and was pleasantly surprised with these. The only thing that would make these absolutely perfect, if they were cordless because my dog is antsy! lol. However, their low noise level helps help him calm, and I have had no problem with snagging!

Review: Let me start by saying that I've owned toy poodles for the past 43 years, and had them groomed until 2019 when my groomer became terminally ill and quickly passed away. After calling around, there weren't any groomers near me who were familiar with basic poodle cuts, so I watched some YT videos, bought a Wahl Arco shaver, and began the task of teaching myself how to cut my dog. I thought I'd bought a great shaver, but there were always issues with that shaver AND my dog that I thought were normal. UNTIL TODAY. This shaver is incredible! My dog was a lot less fidgety/nervous, the shaver remained charged throughout the process, it didn't get hot, and best of all, it didn't nick my baby. I realize that part of this is due to the fact that I've gotten better at this over 4 years, but this shaver is light and really efficient, and the price is much less than the cost of one poodle cut at today's groomers (>$100). So try this shaver: I think you'll be as pleased as I am.

Review: Needed to clip my Labradoodle during Covid. He has a wavy coat. I researched a lot of clippers and didn't want the cheapest nor did I want to pay over $150 for a pair of clippers. These are okay but I am spoiled because I have used professional ones at dog groom shop.Pros:Low NoiseBody is aluminum and not plasticNice adjustable length built into the clippersSuper long cord that makes it convenient when groomingSharp for cutting without cutting your dog without a guard onEasy to take apart for cleaningCons:Narrow blade and guides make it take longer to cut as they are not standard clipper width. It took me 4 hours.Guards fall off fairly easily and it is not engineered well for them to attach and stay on.NOT good as stated when it comes to "thick heavy coats" in the listing. That is highly exaggerated. I keep my dog clean and combed out and these had a hard time getting through one missed month of grooming (he goes every 4 weeks). So I give it a strike for misleading the buyer.They are NOT professional clippers as indicated (another strike).Overall, I give these 3 stars because there are many worse clippers out there. Seller only gets 3 stars because of misleading selling descriptions. They will work okay if you are in a crunch but I would not rely on them if you want to groom your dog yourself all the time (pay an extra hundred on top of this and get lower-end pro clippers instead).

Review: We have a newfoundland dog who was matted around his legs and belly. These clippers worked fantastic. Glided right through the fur quick and easy. No stress on the dog, he just lied there and went to sleep. We previously had another high priced professional clippers that we paid over 400 dollars for that didn't work at all. Highly recommend these clippers. Also I saw a review that someone posted, that they got changed an extra 60 dollars shipping to Canada I did not get charged any shipping fees and I live in Newfoundland Canada

Review: Received in the UK but with US plug.If you have a single voltage device that accepts only 120V, then it will not operate in the UK without a converter or transformer.All manufacturers and importers are required to ensure that electrical items they supply are fitted with UK three-pin plugs with the proper fuse.They have accepted my refund request...said they are not aware of what is in the box- nothing about US plug on their advert so maybe that is true......waiting for them to create return label as not via the standard Amazon method.I have mentioned the US plug to Amazon- not sure they care one way or another.EDIT: seller details state UK based but clippers are being returned to the USA and they are stating no refund until received. I have complained to Amazon who are trying to sort it. We will see.
