Review: I am a tinkerer and this helps me to do jobs that would otherwise be very inconvenient being tethered to a power cord. I have not had the chance to use this much, but it does melt solder. It heats up quickly and cools quickly.It only comes with one tip but others can be purchased on Amazon that LOOK to be the same 510 thread. I cannot verify this 100%.One thing that I am a bit confused by is the fact that the tip does not tin. The solder just doesn't stick to it at all.

Review: this soldering iron is excellent due to how portable it is. it is actually powerful considering its size. perfect for soldering small areas or pieces, or even for someone who needs a basic soldering tool for a craft project or something like that. came with its own little case too which isnt super durable but the iron itself is working well

Title: Works surprisingly well!
Review: I was impressed.... it's the size of a pen and I didn't really have high hopes, but I've used it for an hour on small projects and it worked really well.I did have mild issues with it getting hot enough to metal solder into thick metal (a SO-239 plug), but that was to be expected.Its very freeing to be able to go solder wires together without the need for an extension cord or bringing your project back to the bench.

Title: Impressive Little Cordless Soldering Iron Kit Heats Up Quickly
Review: This is actually a pretty cool soldering device that is cordless, in a very small package size. It's designed for smaller soldering needs, like soldering a component on a circuit board or even a wire connector. It heats up quickly and has two modes of operation. Automatically on when turned on, and manual on when the button is pushed down and off when it is not pushed down. They give you a charging cable, but you will need a USB charging block or a portable USB battery pack. It claims to have enough power for 30 minutes of operation at the constantly on state. Obviously that would last longer if you use the manual on button just when you actually go to solder, though you have to hold the button on for approximately 10 seconds to come up to temperature. This is a good deal for the price and being able to solder on the go without having to find a plug to plug in your other soldering iron.
