Review: Hasn’t lost any effective power, works great! Gnats, mosquitoes, flies and more. Only thing to keep in mind, very strong zapping, my dog jumps every time it snaps, it’s strong and loud, you will have to clean around it frequently.

Title: Failed in Less Than 8 Hours! Do NOT Buy This Brand!
Review: Recommend you buy literally ANY other brand. This one is poorly made and did not last even one night.This Lulu Home bug zapper failed on the first night of use, with one bulb out in LESS THAN 8 HOURS of use. In addition, the design is inferior, with a difficult to connect hanging chain.Check the MANY 1 star reviews for multiple others who had similar (or more severe) poor experiences with this low quality product.I foolishly figured, hey, these bug zappers all look about the same and will work the same. Not true! This Lulu Home Bug Zapper seemed to work at first, but after just a few hours, one light bulb stopped working (see photo). Cycling power does not fix it. Unplugging and plugging back in does not fix it. Carefully pushing on the bulb does not fix it. Note that, unlike the other bug zapper I have, this Lulu Home model has a Non-Grounded 2- prong (NOT 3) plug. I see several reviews reporting safety issues, and that unsafe cord may be part of the reason why. There is no visible shipping damage or other visible problem with the product, so I guess it is just poor quality. Also, there was no spare bulb included, so I cannot even check if maybe they just shipped it with one bad bulb. So, the day after I received it, this poor quality Lulu Home Bug Zapper is already being returned -- after only a few hours use. What a waste! I guess I should be happy it fails so quickly (in just a few hours) that it is still in the return window.Besides one bulb failing after only a few hours of use, Lulu Home Bug Zapper also has an inferior chain hook connection compared to other brands. Lulu Home Bug Zapper has a hard to connect sort of tab punched into the case to clip the chain on (see photo). This was difficult to assemble and does not work well to allow chain rotation. A different brand purchased here on Amazon has a proper hook for connecting chain. The last brand bug zapper I have from Amazon has worked for more than a year (and comes with spare bulbs for free and costs within $1 of same price).You have many options on Amazon for bug zappers that look a lot like this Lulu Home brand one. Be wise and purchase one of those others if you want a product that actually works!

Title: Loud and Shocking
Review: This thing is loud, I suppose that is why it is meant for outdoor use. But I and two others use them for inside. Recently they have been handling an abundance of fruit flies at one house and a abundance of regular flies at the house I stay at.Please note I have noticed it takes 2-3 zaps to finish off those fat flies but it seems to be working great all the same. They are attracted to the light and work best in the dark. I have it a dark corner of the kitchen. The flies love the kitchen because well food water and a lot of natural sunlight coming in. I'll need to keep it on during the day to fully see its value but in the evening when there is still light those little buggers can't resist the light.Come to the light.Also I hope no favorable bugs will suffer from this but I don't get many others in the house but a few variations of fly.

Title: Best flying bug catcher
Review: I bought this based on a recommendation from a friend, and it did not disappoint. No matter how hard I try, there's always a fly or two that got into my house, and a lot of very pesky gnats. I put this on a table in my house and it really works great. There is truly a popping sound when a bug is zapped, and rather than bother me, the sound makes me glad that another bug is gone. If you don't like getting rid of flies, gnats and other such bugs, don't bother with this. But if you really hate having them flying around in your house, this is the product for you.

Review: Me and my partner have been eaten alive by mosquitos and the aircon sticking out the window means we get a lot of flies coming in, this zapper is amazing, sometimes there is a loud POP when I big fly hits it but other than that, it’s quiet, I’ve had it on for over 12 hours since I’ve had (broken up into 2 hour slots) and we’ve got a casualty list of:32 blue bottles, 46 mosquitoes and 9 unidentified little ones. I could not recommend this more!

Review: Es posible que el equipo que recibí tuviera algún defecto de fábrica, sin embargo eso no hace que la experiencia sea mejor; instale el equipo en mi cochera y lo conecté. duran 5 horas acabo con 2 moscas, ciertamente el ruido es fuerte cuando un insecto entra en la rejilla, después de eso hizo un sonido aún más fuerte, pensé que habían estallado las lamparas de luz, pero no, simplemente se quemo y dejo de funcionar completamente. El equipo hace lo que debe pero un tiempo de vida de 5 horas es pésimo. Al final levante mi queja y se generó el rembolso. Al mismo tiempo compre otro aparato, otro modelo cilíndrico, el cual sigue funcionando sin problema.

Review: I received the item in its box, no seal, just address label. It appeared ok, but looking at it there were a couple of dubious signs, the bulb holders was not installed correctly, there were no instructions and the plug was pushed inside the protecting grille. It made me think it wasn't new. I tried it, it didn't work at all, plenty of insects about but no zaps. Returned it immediately , refund issued straight away. Perhaps someone else will end up with it.
