Title: Amazing beginner lense
Review: I was a little skeptical about the lense from select reviews and the crazy low price for such a high mm, but my expectations were smashed. Itâs very light, the quality of the zoom and the images themselves are great, its manual however itâs not too difficult to get a hang of, imo I enjoy it more since Iâm just a starter photographer myself and it forces me to really get the picture the way I want. Itâs made out of sturdy durable metal which was also a surprise and the glass lense are of high quality. Amazing buy if you want to start getting into shooting the moon and far away animals. And it fit my T7 Rebel perfect with the little adapter, would buy again

Title: Donât pass this up - hear me out!!
Review: I am a complete beginner using outdated equipment, and this lens is worth every penny. For context, I was gifted an 18 year old Canon XTI camera with a 75-300mm lens one week ago. I'm literally still trying to figure out the manual settings with that autofocus lens.I quickly realized I needed a lens with more zoom if I wanted to get good close ups of birds⦠but I also didn't want to spend the money on one. I figured I'd take a chance on this, and worst case I'd be out less than $100.The lens was delivered at 6pm tonight, so I had roughly 1.5 hours to assemble and figure out how to use it if I wanted to get any pictures this evening. The lens is super light weight and very straightforward to assemble/use. It would definitely do better with more daylight, but these images at dusk came out fantastic! I am so pleased with this purchase and eager to get better using this lens!

Title: Definitely Worth It
Review: Before and after editing pictured.I bought a cheaper lens because I typically only shoot daytime and wanted to try some basic astrophotography. Boy, this was a good investment. This thing is a chromatic aberration machine, however defringing is easy (when on a computer). The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of five is because itâs probably not beginner friendly if you wanted to shoot in JPEG. I would only shoot in raw using this to make sure when correcting the chromatic aberrations that it doesnât look wonky. And it still might, somewhat but for what it costs and the result you can get from it, you canât really beat it.You definitely need a tripod to shoot with this unless you just have an unnervingly steady hand. For my Canon R model friends, get an adapter mount. This fits an EF mount so I bought an adapter that fits onto my canon eos R50 and mounts the EF lens onto it, works like a charm. For those of you that donât know why itâs not taking photos automatically, look to the release shutter without lens setting. Sometimes the camera wonât communicate with the lens, especially with an adapter so this will allow you to release the shutter!Overall: Great lens for the cost, I wouldnât shoot anything fast moving inside with this, you may get away with some animals but you will need a tripod/monopod since the image stabilization is nonexistent. This is a lens you need to correct for in post, so shoot in raw and bring it into camera raw or Lightroom to defringe it. Good luck!

Title: Great for the Price
Review: For the price, I have no complaints at all. I bought this to take wildlife photos in bright and sunny Arizona using a Canon EOS REBEL T7 and it works well for my purposes. Just make sure you use a very strong and stable tripod and a remote shutter and you'll get some great shots. I also plan to take some shots of the moon and I'm anxious to see how those will turn out once the right nighttime conditions present themselves.

Title: This lens is incredible!!!
Review: I've been an avid birder for three years now. My sister got me into watching birds to get me through depression after losing our beloved furbaby of 12 years. I am attached to our backyard birds. Each of these photos were taken with this lens. You will need a very stable and heavy tripod for the lens. It's around 5-6 pounds in weight. You can also buy a remote control for the lens that helps keep the blur and noise out of the photos and a teleconverter that will zoom 50% further away. I have purchased expensive lenses, but this is my absolute favorite!!

Title: not best quality
Review: you need to be in perfect light conditions to take good picture with this lens and the manual focus could be tricky sometimes. I used this for a solar eclipse, so it worked well as i had the time to find the sweet spot for the focus.

Title: Did not work period, could not even get a single non blurry shot despite trying all settings
Review: I really wanted to like this lens since it felt like value for money, but not sure what was I thinking seeing all the nice pictures posted by others in the reviews since I could not take even 1 decent shot in about 100 tries. And yes I read about all the manual focussing limitations and different settings I needed to change for ISO and Shutter Speed. I did try it against the moon, against other landscape items in full bright sunlight, with and without tripods, but the lens would just not focus into other than a blur (and I am not even talking about when I clicking the shutter)... the lens focus from the view finder itself was always blurry aka out of focus, despite trying to focus several times with different focal lengths (yes I tried from 420mm all the way to the 800 mm). I also tried with two DSLRs that I have Canon Rebel XSI and T5. May be it works with more high end and newer models... too bad this is going back.

Title: specks inside the glass that affects pictures
Review: There are specks inside the glass that affects pictures. We tried cleaning the lense but discovered it is the glass that has a bubble in it.EDIT: Customer service is great... They are sending out a new lens immediately Wonderful service!!!

Review: What a great lens it is clear and powerful. zooms very well. I was really impressed with the quality for such a good price. This lens is worth it. The pictures came out great. They even sent instructions on how to use manual mode and change the shutter speed on your camera. That was above and beyond great service of them. This is a manual lens. There are no electrical connections. You must adjust the zoom and focus yourself and then you must adjust the exposure on the camera yourself. It is an easy process and jintu Made the process even easier. This product is very well-made. I recommend this lens and would buy it again.

Review: The lens is entirely manual. It is hard to get focus right, and most of the time, I just couldn't get the picture I want, but I still recommend it. I got it because I love taking pictures of wild birds, and they do not let me approach. The focus is hard to get, and the picture quality is not good (I recommend adjusting your light meter a little darker, -1 or -2, than precisely in the middle,0). The lens gets bleached when adjusted in the proper light meter. So taking a darker picture, you can get more information to correct it on photoshop or lightroom. For all the images I got, I had to correct the colour (vibration) in photoshop or lightroom. I am fully aware that a good lens with this configuration would cost me at least a thousand dollars, so let's be realistic here that it does a great job for the price. You have to learn how to focus manually. All these pictures were taken with the lens and without a tripod. I lean against something to give me stability and also hold my breath. It would help if you also used your ISO to get faster-shot speed. It is working well for me, and being honest. I am getting better and better at manually focusing the pictures now. I strongly recommend it for those who want to have some fun and practice manually focusing. Observation: The lens already comes with tripod support in the middle, so you do not need to worry about buying a ring to fit it on the tripod. The zoom is crazily far, and you can get nice shots.

Review: Be realistic. Itâs shaky. Itâs not perfectly sharp. Thereâs significant aberration. Contrast takes a hit. But itâs ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE VALUE. With a bit of post processing and some bumped up sharpness and contrast photos will look great. Would not hesitate to recommend this lens to anyone.

Review: My expectations weren't high when I bought this thing but I was quite amazed after receiving it and using it with my Canon T3 camera. I used it for taking photos of the Moon and for that purpose it's suited by needs very well until I could afford to upgrade to a dedicated Optical tube assembly for that purpose. If you know how to manually focus the lens then this is the perfect budget lens to achieve the level of Zoom that other lenses will charge you $500 to $1,000 for it.

Review: I compared cropping a picture using a canon lense to using this lense and I got a better image by cropping a picture taken using the canon 70-250mm lense.
