Title: The Bowl To End All Bowls: Big, Beautiful, Strong
Review: TL;DR (Too Long, Didn't Read):This bowl is a gargantuan beast, definitely buy it! It's strong, durable and very appealing. A great product from Amazon and the creators.PROS:- The bowl looks really nice. The black and red is a very classic, tried and true color combination- It's HUGE, I can't stress this enough. This bowl is the biggest bowl I have ever used. It will fit anything you could ever possibly want to eat- It feels durable. I gave it the old stress-test (move hands inwards, apply pressure with hands, chest/shoulder muscles) It DOES NOT have a cheap, plastic feel to it- It has a Japanese label on it (and on the bottom) so we can go full-circle weeabooCONS/NOTES:- It looks a bit more 'matte' in the Amazon photo and the red looks a bit more like a bright cherry type of red. The actual bowl has a glossy finish and the red is more of a dark, wine red in person. Keep in mind this is more of a "note" I'm just pointing out to people, not really a con.

Title: Great Bowls, holds lots of Soup
Review: I am so happy I ordered these large 38 oz bowls. Holds more than a quart to the rim. Thats a man sized bunch of soup or chili. We have used them twice in 3 days both for near boiling Soup. We could easily hold these bowls in our hands from Stove to Table and NOT burn our hands. WOOHOO that is so nice. ALSO, the bottom of this bowl keeps the Soup Hot, and we had to keep blowing on each spoonful. I thought it would never cool down. They came lickety split quick, so I was able to use them that night after washing of course.I do hand wash them so far. But will see if they end up in the dishwasher over time. Haven't used them in the Nuker yet either. I also got a dozen of the Spoons that match, and I forgot to try them. DUH. Added a photo so people can see the spoons are pretty right on as for the color matching. The first night we had Rigotoni n Sauce. My Son balked at using the Japanese Noodle Bowls for Pasta...He said " It just isn't right, eating Pasta from a Noodle Bowl"...I laughed and laughed. But we all love these bowls. And the Pasta was Perfect in them. just sayin'

Title: Well made bowls!
Review: My only gripe, is that I wished there was some more Japanese art on the sides. It looks like ceramic bowls, but feels like a durable plastic. They're so well made, that when my (2) bowls arrived, they were vacuumed together; my second 'minor' gripe. You see, one way it shows the manufacturing process is done very well, with very low tolerances (unlike Chinese bowls). The other way, Japanese manufacturers did not take into account what happens when you stack the bowls (they will become air tight, and hard to dismount from one another).Other than that, they're quite large, and great for the man who has a large appetite; or, normal appetite if you're using the bowl for other than ramen or soup-like dishes. They work in the microwave, are of good plastic quality, and I hope they'll last a long time. The red and black is a nice contrast, referring to the olden 'clay' ceramic bowls when they were burned in ovens, giving that red and black looks. The sticker decoration on them, made them look real Japanese, however, I did not trust the quality of the sticker to survive more than a few dishwasher washes, so I removed them, making the looks of the bowl, more plain.

Title: Decent bowl
Review: EDIT: After using these balls for my Ramen dinner, I realize they are deceptively large. The width of the ball is what threw me off, but they are very deep and hold a lot of soup. I am satisfied with these balls and I am going to order another set. Also, the plastic-ness of the bowls meant that it didn't burn my hand when I carried it from the kitchen to the dining room. That was nice.I was hoping to get a proper sized ramen bowl. This one is smaller than I expected (see photo comparing it to my average sized hands). Also seems to be made of mostly plastic, but I guess that's my fault for not checking the product specs. It's a nice miso bowl, but could not hold an entire meals worth of food. EDIT: it does hold a full means worth.

Title: Very large, very light
Review: i was confused as to how big the bowl actually was from reading the description, reviews, and even other peoples pictures. So I took my own. The bowl has 2 cooked packages of ramen inside. it can easily hold 3. Very large bowl.Another positive: the base has a circle of raised plastic lifting the bowl about 2/3 of an inch off the table. The positive about this is you can hold onto the bottom of this. If your bowl has boiling liquid in it, its very easy to carry because its so high and theres such a large buffer of insulation on the bottom to carry. The last part is the weight. To me, I dont care. It is very light for a bowl this size though. Some people might not like it, as premium things are generally heavy. I think the bowl is premium and light at the same time in my opinion.very good bowl for the price.

Title: Best microwave-safe noodle bowl I've found
Review: My kids love ramen noodles so I've been searching for years for a microwave safe bowl that is large enough to hold one package of noodles. This is it!This bowl is rather thin and very light weight but it's a generous size. It holds a whole package of ramen noodles with some room left at the top to avoid sloshing and spills. It's an attractive black with red interior, but the plastic scratches easily and I'd imagine they won't be pretty for long. However, they are perfect for our needs and I'm delighted to find them. They don't heat up in the microwave and although the hot ramen inside will transfer heat to the bowl, you have time to get the bowl from the microwave to the table before that happens. This makes it safer for my 10 year old to make his own noodles. If you have ramen lovers in your house, these bowls will make them happy!
