Title: An amazing drone - ONCE you get it going
Review: First off, this is a GREAT drone - we love flying it. Its VERY simple to learn how to fly this thing. The biggest problem is just getting it set up in the first place. The video tutorials didn't seem to really match the hardware but it was "close enough" to make it work. They also don't have hardly ANY decent videos. The hardest step by far is updating the firmware on everything and for people without a technical background, it might be a bit intimidating. But you REALLY need to update that firmware to fix earlier topple problems that they fixed with a software patch. You basically plug the headset into your phone, install the app, and follow the steps. However it didn't always "take" because it felt like I had to patch it 3 times in a row before it stopped complaining. Once you are past that, everything gets MUCH easier. So go find yourself an 8 year old that can do the firmware updates for you and give them a cookie. The other thing to know is that you need to double-tap then HOLD power buttons to turn things on and off - that was SOOOO confusing, and I could never figure out how to turn on/off the battery. The headset is very comfortable and super super easy to loosen/tighten - probably the easiest I've ever used. The picture is clear and smooth. The only downside I've found is that the eye width adjustment does not go far enough - not everyone has an elf-sized head and it needs to go wider. The controller fits in your hand nice and olds a good charge. I do wish that it had some kind of external antenna so that it had better range - I'm CONSTANTLY getting warnings about it - but it doesn't seem to affect flight. We've had this thing 2000 feet in the air with no issues, although it does seem to be a bit affected by wind shear more than others it's size.Battery life is ok - 15 minutes maybe? But of course its like a car - it depends on how you drive it.My biggest complaint - and it might be just learning more on my part - but once the battery hits 10%, it just stops and hovers. It will ignore your commands, which is REALLY frustrating when you are racing to get back to home and you are 20 feet off the shore over water and it just STOPS. Then I have to get the boys wet wading out into water to grab it. Let the operator OVERRIDE it if they want - the operator knows best most of the time. Now once again, there might be a way and I just haven't found it yet.Overall, this thing has been a BLAST and (don't tell me wife) I just ordered a 2nd one.Another comment before I save this, the batteries are WAY TOO FREAKING EXPENSIVE - c'mon DJI, quit being greedy. We own 4 batteries now and I'm broke. Oh, and make it easier to remove the batteries from the drone while you are at it.Highly Recommended Drone!

Title: A complete blast. Love it!
Review: This thing is a blast to fly. The motion controller is a whole lot of fun and a great way to start flying fpv. I bought the explorer combo and the goggles Integra are great and I was able to find a lens to fit my eyes. This drone is fast in sport mode but so smooth to fly with the motion controller. I also bought one of the fpv controllers so I can fly in manual mode at some point. I've been practicing with the DJI virtual flight simulator and it is great but manual flight is hard for me so this simulator will probably save me a lot of money. I bought my combo before they went up $100 so I feel like I got a good deal. The main problem I have with this drone is the battery and the cost of a new one. $120 for a battery that gives you 18 minutes of flightIs pretty steep if you ask me. One other problem I have is it's hard to remember to remove the camera cover on this drone. The cover is the same color as the surrounding drone and it's tough to remember when you're in a hurry to get to flying. Find you a piece of bright neon tape or something to put on it so you remember to remove before flight. If you're interested in fpv then this is a great starter drone and you can always reuse the goggles. You can now use the goggles and the motion controller 2 with the DJ mini 3 pro and 4 pro from what I understand. It looks pretty cool on YouTube. I'm happy with my purchase so far. I would buy something to help guard the gimble and camera. The new master air screw three bladed props are very nice. To me they are quieter or at least make a more pleasant sound LOLThey do give you about five to eight miles per hour faster in forward flight. That's all for now but I will update if anything changes.

Title: It's a good starter
Review: While I know a lot of people are buying a Avata 2, I chose this drone as a starter because I figured by now most of the bugs have been worked out, and I was looking for a cheaper option to get started in in fpv flying.I have to say this little drone has exceeded my expectations, and has rejuvenated my love for drone video. It's a little intimidating to fly at first, but once you get the hang of it it really is very easy to operate. It's also very durable as I've crashed it a few times already running into trees and so far it seems to be holding up pretty well.

Title: Be careful if you return
Review: Update 3/30/24 still waiting for my refund. I call every day and they just keep pushing the return day back further and furtherExtremely frustrating. I used to enjoy purchasing things on AmazonI thought this was going to be a great addition to my collection. But after many hours trying to get the drone updated I realized this drone was going to be more trouble than it’s worth. It took so long to update the batteries kept dying. The goggles are extremely uncomfortable! And the goggles battery would not last long enough to updateI started my return with Amazon over a month ago and they are still not crediting my account. Every time I check they make me wait longer!! Doesn’t Jeff Bezos has enough money? He can’t refund me mine??

Title: Really fun to fly, pretty good camera!
Review: This was my first drone and what made me fall in love with flying drones! Incredibly cool experience flying for the first time, extremely easy to learn and beautiful videos on top of all that! If you are looking for a fun flying experience with little knowledge on drones, this is perfect. The camera isn’t top of the line but you can still get breathtaking 4K footage that will impress people!

Title: Fun But Not THere Yet
Review: I bought this to try FPV. I'm a good flyer with my DJI Mini first gen. I was very proficient with this but it's not there yet. The field of view is rather limited. It does not feel like you're flying. It gives you a great perspective, you can see well, and it's fun. But my boys and I got tired of it after 3 flights. I sold it on ebay. I think it'll be a few years before these become more immersive.
