Review: I got this to try keeping mice and away. It does make the sound move make ( dogs notice quick). It has strobe lights. The directions are easy to read! Ready to see if it actually works. Light weight

Review: I delayed this review to see if it works as well as every other reviewer describes. My past experience with similar acoustic devices did not give me optimism.We are now well into early winter invasions of garage and shop by voles and deer mice. I cannot help but wonder at the reviews already posted. All 5 stars, glowing praise.My first observation was that no matter how I press the options button the strobes do not flash as described in the included flyer. Maybe not a big deal, but it also states it makes very high frequency sounds - well above our range of hearing. So how would I know?Our reality is the annual invasion this year is just like past years with no device. I could take pics showing droppings all around the device which has been on continuously for 2 or 3 months. Strobes flash, but when I open the garage door from the house when the garage is dark the invaders scuttle to my arrival.I am now using baited poison cakes; one was eaten fully – placed about five feet from the device.As a Vine member I am obligated to review. Sorry but my experience is not 5 star!

Title: Seems To Be Working
Review: Living in a wooded, semi-rural area, field mice are a constant presence. They love to vacation in our basement, especially during the cold winter months. We've tried a variety of scented repellents with poor results; hubby still has to empty a trap at least once weekly. I've been pleasantly surprised by this compact Ultrasonic Pest Repellent, which seems to have deterred the mice since it's placement in the basement several weeks ago. The ultrasonic unit has a strobe light and three sound modes, which humans can't hear. There is also a test button that emits an audible noise so you can make sure it works, prior to setting it up for the critters. It's recommended to alternate sound settings every few weeks so rodents don't get used to them. The day after placement, there were two mice in our traps, which has never happened before. Since then, there have been none, which is unusual for this time of year. I'm looking forward to seeing if the effects continue over time, or if the mice become immune to the noise, but I'm quite satisfied with the product so far.

Title: Functions properly and includes power block!
Review: This mouse deterrent functions well as described. It emits a sequence of bight flashes and clicks (and also makes sounds that humans can't hear). Unlike previous deterrents I've owned, this one has three different modes to keep the mice from growing accustomed to the pattern. It's about the size of a computer mouse, so it's easy to find a spot for it. I was most impressed that it came with its own USB cord and power block. When $1,000+ cellphones skip providing a power block, I get extra excited when companies/products like this one do include a power block. I've been using the deterrent in my shed, and so far the mouse urine smell has decreased. I'll know better how effective it is in Winter when the mice really start hunting for a warm home, but so far it seems effective.

Title: Works great!
Review: I purchased the ultrasonics mouse repeller due to some mice I had in my utility room. For some reason they only inhabit that room and in the 2 years I have lived in this house, I have never seen them anywhere else. When I received the package I opened it and took everything out of the box which included a user manual, a warranty card, the power cord, the device, and a remote. Since I wrote this review during the day I took it into my bathroom which has no windows so the lights would be able to be seen. Everything works as it should. You can hear the trap in the video but the only time you can actually hear it with your ears is when it’s in test mode which is the yellow light. Aside from that, it is completely silent to the human ear but the video shows that it is in fact emitting sound. The trap looks very nice and sleek with the silver and black color scheme, it is well made and durable, and the remote makes it easy to use. Since using it I really haven’t heard any mice movement so the sound does appear to be driving those little buggers out of here and in a more humane way which is nice. I’ve also attached a picture of the bottom to show that there are buttons in the event that you misplace the remote or run out of batteries (which are included). Happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others!!
