Title: Not very durable, suits my purpose beautifully
Review: Make no mistake, this is a very low-end weed/brush wacker that does not have a substantial feel at all. It feels very cheap and commiserate with its low price. However, I have a 50ft by 125 ft burm in my backyard filled with the most thistles and bramble you have ever seen. I was thinking about contracting out the cutting down of weeds in this area. I went out today during a 40-degree December heat wave and easily cut down over a third of this burm today. The product works great for my needs.You get two batteries, and countless plastic, metal, and saw blades. This was the perfect purchase for me. If you are expecting a high-quality weed/brush trimming trimmer, step up and buy a high quality product from Home Depot, etc. If I was going to use this more than once a year, I wouldn't have bought it. It will not hold up to extended use over the course of a year.

Title: Don't let the look of this Product deceive you!!
Review: I bought this even though some of the reviews were rough and negative. I am so glad I did. I was able to easily assemble the unit and charged up the batteries (which only took about 45 minutes out of the box) which did have a partial charge already when delivered. I used the first one for over a half hour and it is still running...will have to wait and see, but it seems that it will hold a charge quite well so far.It comes with a very nice assortment of cutting devices. I used the wire whip cutter first and I was very pleased at how it took down some snow on the mountain and pulverized it to specks!! I then used one of the straight blades on some wild raspberry canes that also had thick stemmed Peonies in the same thatch...both were no match for this unit as it cut through with no problem. I do have to say that the guard kept going into the protective position when I had put it up...BUT this is what the SAFETY GUARD is supposed to do...protect the brick/ wood or whatever else is in front of it. I should just remove it for the work I am doing and put it back on for the "normal" use of it!Basically I say make up your own mind, but I would not pass this unit by as I am thrilled with it and can't wait to complete my fall tasks (clearing out the thickets and Vines that grew over the summer) with this unit.Only thing I am really concerned about is where I can buy the replacement cutters of all of the styles when I run these out??

Title: PIECE OF JUNK, NOT WORTH IT!!
Review: Super small blades. The plastic blade broke within 5 seconds! Then I used one of the metal blades and it was just OK. Not much power and it kept stopping because the grass trim kept going under the head. When I removed the head to pack it up for a return one of the screws was about to fall off. WARNING, DO NOT BUY THIS!!

Title: Not bad....but have some issues...
Review: Battery life pretty good....last about 45+ min each. After using both, you are ready for a break! I have only used the round saw blade. It cuts really nice. When cutting a small tree shrub, 1" dia, it does pretty well. Of course it will bog down a bit, but will cut it eventually. I took the plastic guard off because it kept moving out of position. And I also took the metal guard off, it would drop down and get in the way. It is light weight and the arm extends to a nice length. There is no automatic stop, when you let go of the trigger, the blade just keep spinning until it winds down. I with it had an auto stop. I also wish it had an on/off trigger. Your hand gets really tired holding the trigger constantly. Overall, for the money and operation, its a good deal.

Title: Amazing little weed eater! Don't be fooled by price or size!
Review: I had to do something about the Johnson Grass (which can have a stalk the consistency of a corn stalk) in my clover and alfalfa hay field. I purchased this light weight and inexpensive weed eater that came with nice attachments. I used the two sided metal mowing blade. I added an old strap off of a suitcase for a shoulder sling (it is light weight, but I was using it for 2 hours at a time). Unit comes with 2 rechargeable batteries. The first battery lasted 1 hour and 5 minutes of continuous cutting. The 2nd battery lasted 55 minutes. I almost wore out before the batteries did. I was able to work in the evenings about 2 hours with both batteries and I cut the Johnson Grass out of a 1 acre hay field in 4 evenings (about 8 hours of total time). Picture shows on the right where I had used the weed eater and on the left of what I was cutting. Probably the manufacturer didn't anticipate this kind of use, but I put the weed eater to the test and it passed with flying colors. I would not hesitate to buy another one if I ever wear this one out. Great product!

Review: I have a large lawn, and with it lots of trimming.My grass grows like a weed and is at least 1-2' tall, thick, and tired of replacing the rope end on my traditional weed whacker.Got this and its a dream!Yes, I know I should fully charge before 1st use, I didn't... and I still got 40 mins/ 3/4 of my trimming done on 2 batteries!!I was agressive, used the metal round saw blade, it was a HOT KNIFE THROUGH BUTTER!! as expectedI then moved to the metal helicopter blade, again great performance chopped what I needed and more.Then I ran out of Battery.. no problem, I am so impressed, I'll use this for my other rental properties too.Yes, the battery doesn't last as long as I'd like, but I'm glad I got 2 and looking forward to full charge timing!But for all those asking the real questions: Is it fast, and is it aggressive?YES! I would peg around 2000RPM, and it sawed through branches, twigs, and nicked my fence several times (I did not install the guard on purpose)I may buy another just to have a spare on hand and more batteries! 🙂
