Title: Great monitor’s
Review: The speakers work very well, they have a graphic and parametric equalizer, thanks to which I am able to get a very good sound for my needs. These are my first speakers of this company and I am very pleased with them. I use them at home to listen to music and sound from the TV. Bluetooth works very well, there is only one problem when I use an iPhone. The iPhone and Mackbook have a sound level adjustment every 4 db, which makes some songs sound too loud or too quiet. This is not the fault of these speakers, but of the Apple device. That is why I use them connected to Eversolo, where the volume level can be accurate to 0.5 db. When I want to use Apple equipment, I use AirPlay, which sends a signal and regulates the rest of the volume precisely on Eversolo or another device connected to them. These speakers have a clean sound in which there is no lack of detail or bass. One thing that may be inconvenient is that these speakers do not have a remote control and you cannot turn them on from the application. Each of them must be turned on with a switch located on the back of the housing. Because of this, I use a socket with a remote control and everything works very well. I gave up on the Klipsh R-28f floorstanding speakers because these monitors play incomparably better. I recommend testing them personally if you are interested in this type of speakers.

Title: Pretty Decent Monitors!
Review: OK, keep your expectations in check here. These are inexpensive nearfield monitors, and I wouldn't recommend them for a real project studio or above (as in if you're recording a band, doing mastering, etc.). But for my "Studio C" - used for product development, engineering, testing, and etc., they are just fine, perhaps for the simple reason that I didn't have space for larger monitors in this location. Nonetheless, sound quality is very good, as is imaging, and they actually had too much bass in the center EQ position (on the back) - having to reduce the bass on such tiny woofers was surprising. I also boosted the treble a little, which suits my ears. Anyway, nice monitors for the price. If you need larger nearfield monitors, I would consider the next models up in this line. For "real" monitors, though, you're looking at many times the price, and such may be required (I use JBLs, Yamahas, and Tannoys for this case - again a lot more bucks involved). But for the price of a decent PC-class speaker set, you could do much worse than the BX4s. I know, I've tried.BTW - nicely packaged! Double boxed, great packing, and the required cables are included.

Title: M-Audio BX-5’s are my secret mixing weapon!
Review: I’ve been mixing through M-Audio BX-5’s since 2009. They are very flat with no bass exaggeration. They have allowed me to consistently nail bass and kick EQ’s for well over a decade. They keep getting better every generation with this newest model being no exception. I absolutely trust them. They are very good looking and bring plenty of volume for any genre., the idea here isn’t to be mega loud but to be very accurate. BX-5’s aren’t the most powerful monitors and I seem to go through a set every 3 years or so. But for the price, who cares? I’m mixing stuff that blows away stuff that guys are mixing on speakers that cost thousands more

Title: Excellent Sound for the Money. NOT 4.5 Inches.
Review: I just received these speakers yesterday so I am still playing around and getting used to them however I'm very happy with the sound. I have them set on my desktop to be used as reference speakers for video and sound editing. The sound is crisp and clear and full. They are very solid and seem to perform the function, for which they were intended, quite nicely. However there are 2 things which I have noticed which I will mention here. First, as you can see from the pictures, I ordered what was described as 4.5" reference monitors and the label on the back of the cabinet clearly states [4.5"]. It seems as though the folks at M-AUDiO may not be using the same type of ruler that I use. They are not actually 4.5" drivers, closer to 3.75". Second, and this is really my only actual functional complaint, as mentioned by others, the volume knob doesn't seem to take the speakers all the way down to a muted level without actually turning the power off. It's not a deal-breaker for me but something to note. Again, I'm still very happy with the sound and value.

Review: I'm coming from a pair of AV 40's that died. These sound even better than those, they deliver decent bass without being ridiculously overpowered. The highs are crystal clear. I heard no distortion even with them turned up. Being able to adjust the db level treble and bass on the rear is a nice touch. Switching the active speaker position is even better.

Title: Just what the doctor ordered
Review: This is my second time buying these studio quality speakers. I couldn’t be happier. First of all, I love the sound of these speakers when recording. Beyond that, I really appreciate receiving a brand new product to my door.
