Review: I didn’t expect much for $99. I never owned a sewing machine before and did not know how to use one, so since I hate sewing by hand and I was determined to make my own cushion covers I decided on this sewing machine - not expecting to use it much for anything else. It is super easy - with the help of YouTube videos since I have no patience for manuals, I learn how to thread, fill a bobbin (never heard of a bobbin before), change sewing feet, see a zipper, etc….. I was so surprised of all the different stitches and how professional the final result looked. My cushion covers came out perfect and I already used it to finish up a tablecloth, hem curtains, fix my favorite pillow case and plan on many others. I recommended to my sister who will be buying it, and recommend to anyone else. As to how long it will last I don’t know but it already paid with itself.

Title: Good machine for the price.
Review: This machine does the job. Great for beginners and smaller projects. LED light does not seem as bright as my old machine light. I wish it was a bit brighter. There is not threader for the needle. The area that the fabric lays on as you sew is pretty small. My old extender will not attach to this machine (both Brothers). The front comes off but is not a storage box. The available stitch setting are basic for most projects.I’ve managed a number of sewing projects with this one so far. I will probably keep this for my girls to learn on, but I think I’ll be upgrading to a slightly larger machine.

Title: Light Weight Wonder
Review: At 85+ y/o, I am so pleased with this 12#, very efficient portable sewing machine. It most definitely meets my needs and expectations to sew again without having to drag out my previous portable which was effective but so very, very heavy that I had quit sewing.. This machine has fullfilled my wants, but I must caution buyers to have patience in closely following the provided directions in getting started. To me, the threading of the machine, both upper and lower threading, was very unique. Get that part right and you will be very pleased with this choice.

Title: I'm a guy that has NEVER touched a sewing machine in my life. This little one is a perfect starter.
Review: What the title said, I have never touched a sewing machine in my life. I got this one to save time on household sewing/mending chores. This little Brother does the job. What would have taken many hours of hand-mending takes less than minutes now. So far, I'm very happy with this machine. It did take me many tries to learn how to use it on spare fabric. But watching online tutorials does help a lot.So far, I have repaired many things around the house. If you have the time to learn a bit, this may be a great purchase.
