A flavor-packed collection of 65 recipes from the trio behind the premier pops stand in the country, People’s Pops.
In 2008, three old friends had a hunch that the world deserved a better ice pop. Every summer since, New York City’s been taken by storm with out-of-the-box flavors like Raspberries & Basil, Peach & Bourbon, and Cantaloupe & Tarragon from People’s Pops. Now, the People behind the phenomenon share their DIY ethos in a breezy cookbook that teaches how to pair ingredients, balance sweetness, and explore fruits (and vegetables and herbs!)--in simple recipes that work with standard ice pop molds or improvised ones. With a chapter devoted to shave ice plus recipes for grownup boozy pops sprinkled throughout, People’s Pops proves itself top of the pops.

Title: Simply amazing!
Review: I love this book! I love how it's not just recipes, but has instructions from picking your ingredients to how to start your own business. Not that I want to start one even though it could be a year round business for Texas. I just love that they are so open and honest from start to finish. The first recipe I tried was the Balsamic and strawberry pops. I was hesitant at first because the kids were looking forward to their first set. I didn't want to disappoint them if they didn't like our first batch. I went for it anyway because I love cooking with Balsamic. I did not need to worry. They are amazing! My son ran around the kitchen screaming, "Oh my gosh! These are so freaking good!". Over and over again until he was upstairs yelling it in his Dad's face. It was adorable, and we'll deserved. Simply amazing. I'm looking forward to using lots of these at my dinner parties.

Title: I love People's Pops!
Review: I am not lucky enough to live in NYC and thus be able to enjoy People's Pops whenever I want.. so I was so excited when I heard they were releasing a cookbook! The book is awesome. It teaches you about fruits, ingredients and flavors, and helps you understand what season is good for what produce. The pictures are fabulous and I love the mix of people shown enjoying their pops (not just a bunch of stunning models, but some good ol' everyday pop lovers!). The recipes are great and I love how they encourage their readers to get creative and mix it up. I can't wait to go pick up a pop mold so I can test out these delicious recipes!

Title: Easy, delicious & fun to make...
Review: Originally bought this book at World Market along with a 10-pop mold. Liked it so much, we purchased more molds at WM (the Norpro Ice Pop Maker on Amazon looks exactly the same) and 2 more copies of the book on Amazon to give as gifts. So far, all the recipes we've tried have been quick & easy to put together. Simple ingredients and a variety of flavors to suit both adults and children. The simple syrup made with organic cane sugar couldn't be any easier to make. The book provides some great tips/suggestions for creating your own flavors. These are so easy and fun to make...we're hooked!!

Title: ice pops!
Review: Very well done recipe book - it is more than just recipes, it also has helpful notes on every step of the process from ingredient selection to serving. The pictures are gorgeous and I have really liked every recipe I have tried.I really like the beginning where they go into complimentary flavors and techniques - this is valuable information if you want to do anything other than follow recipes. When you not only know how to do something but WHY you are doing it, you open up exponential new possibilities.

Title: Follow These Recipes
Review: I have bought this book numerous times now, given it as a gift, along with a popsicle mold set. The recipes are phenomenal. When I tried to wing it and make up my own recipe - - - - not so much, but if you follow the recipes in the book, you will make delicious, healthy, beautiful popsicle treats that you and your family will love.

Title: Cool popsicles
Review: Great little recipe book with ideas that are accessible but still interesting. I like that itâs broken up into seasons. Living in northern Michigan, our seasonal fruits are very similar to that of New York, so that was a refreshing change. I loved their tips and thought the photos and general layout of the book were great.

Title: Is it really a recipe book?
Review: This wasn't really what I was looking for when buying a book titled "People's Pops". The recipes are all fairly involved and complicated. I do appreciate that there are alcoholic and more grown up popsicle recipes. All in all, I'm not sure if I'll ever actually use this book. It's more of an idea book to me. How hard is it to give people different ideas on different fruits to blend together and then freeze? I'm not really sure what I was expecting. I wish I'd been able to see more of the recipes in the preview before purchasing so that I could have known what to expect. Oh well.

Title: Love this book!
Review: This book is great! I am so glad they have a recipe book so that I can attempt to recreate these amazing Popsicles! I had these when I was visiting New York and took a stroll through Chelsea's Market. They were by far the best popsicles I ever had and I was so sad I was only able to have one before leaving. I usually don't eat sweets anymore because the high sugar content and additives mess with my stomach, but this didn't bother me at all and that alone made me want to try it again. I'm really excited to try these out and I hope they come out just as good as the original or at least good 😀

Review: A really diverse collection of flavours are featured in this book. The recipes ive tried have been really refreshing, not too sweet. I was concerned that as its an american book a lot of the recipes might call for ingredients that are difficult to get hold of but theyre all basics that we have here, and no corn syrup either, which is a relief. I wouldnt reccomend this is you are making ice lollys for children, the flavours are defintely aimed at an adult audience, raspberry and basil or blueberry moonshine for example(just realised you'd struggle to get hold of moonshine here...). Overall a great book!

Review: Love the pictures; love the tips, notes, and explanations; love the layout of recipes based chronologically spring through fall. And the Popsicles are good too! Apricot Salted Caramel is my current favourite.
