If the battery voltage falls below 15.5 volts, the machine will automatically shut down to prevent overload damage.
SAFETY LOCK: The handheld brush trimmer features a dual safety switch that allows the mower to operate only if both switches are pressed simultaneously, minimizing the risk of accidental start-up and ensuring the safety of the user.

Title: This is not a DEWALT product
Review: You simply add your Dewalt battery to this device. This blades are sharp and will get the job done. This product does perform well for its size. It is easy to use and it’s not heavy. This is a great value for its cost and works very well for me. This is my first time trimming my bushes and this product made it a breeze.Next time. I would prefer a longer blade but this met my budget requirements.

Title: easy and convenient
Review: attaches to my dewalt battery pack easily. did a quick test trim on my shrubs and it cut with ease. trimmed about 3 inches of height off 5 bushes around a foot thick & cleaned up the sides in just a few minutes. well worth the buy!

Title: Ok at first…
Review: First day it worked great! Took it out a week later and it started smoking when I pulled the trigger. If you take a chance on it, better use it as much as possible in the first 30 days to see if it’s going to keep working. I returned it for a refund. Didn’t want to take a chance on starting a fire!

Review: This is among the more well made handheld trimmers I have seen and used. It also has safety features which are important. It does not come with a lithium battery with our paying a large premium, rather than giving you a break on the combo. I don’t like that, so a #4

Title: Great set of mini hedge trimmers
Review: If you already have dewalt 20 volt tools with batteries and need some hedge trimmers you should give these a try. They are smaller than the full length ones which makes them easier to fit in tight places and my wife likes them better since it's not as heavy after trimming for awhile while holding them. They last a really long time with a dewalt 4 amp battery. I got them mainly for the long bar so haven't really tried the small sheer made for grass, but for less than 50 bucks these are definitely worth having around the house if you have alot of shrubs and bushes to trim.
