Title: Beautiful, sometimes challenging pieces
Review: This is a nice selection of songs from the show that hews closely to the original music. Some of the keys are brutal, and many of the songs call for quite large hands! Nothing insurmountable, but a bit more challenging than other musical piano songbooks.

Title: the binding is so much better and is worth having in addition to the movie ...
Review: For starters, if you have the book for the movie soundtrack, the binding is so much better and is worth having in addition to the movie music book. The arrangements mostly contain the melody in the right hand; for those parts that don't, it is fairly simply to add it yourself. The arrangements are not too difficult themselves and are in the style typical to the writers; lots of running eighth notes in the left hand, lush chords in the right that are meant to sprain your fingers. The arrangement for 'Once Upon a December' is missing the interlude and the final key change. The arrangement for 'Journey to the Past' differs from the movie by having more movement in the right hand. The additional songs written for the show are a nice addition and justify owning both this and the book for the movie (for those who wonder if having both is too much).

Title: I wanted to love it. It's...fine.
Review: I really want to love this book. I've been enamored with the music from the movie since I was a kid and fell equally in love with the Broadway versions. I waited until I'd had the book a while to write the review and honestly it's....fine. A lot of my issues may just be up to preference:Pros - Very full accompaniment - The pieces are in the same keys as the show - It's got all the songs you want - It has multiple vocal lines on some songsCons - Some of the chords are so big that I physically can't play them (I have small hands, so playing five notes at once in one hand is only possible if there are no black keys...which is never the case in this book) - It's hard to keep the book open. This is minor. Yes, I've broken the spine 18,402 times. At this point it might be worth it to just chop off the binding and get it spiral bound. - At some points the accompaniment is so full that you have to pedal like crazy to keep the sound from becoming a hot, muddy mess. Not a pro or a con, but it should be noted that the key signatures in this get a bit wild. Most of the songs have 6 flats or sharps at some point and a lot of them utilize double flats and sharps freely. Overall, this is a pretty decent book. I just don't pull it out as often as I thought I would because my hands hurt after trying to play that many enormous five note chords. If you have larger hands, this probably won't be an issue for you. Enjoy! (just don't break your fingers. 🙂 )

Title: I loved the arrangements!
Review: I'm not super good at piano, and many of the chords use all five corners and just about break your fingers, bug i was able to play some of the songs. The music is arranged just like in the musical and is very beautiful.

Title: Makes my teen very happy
Review: My daughters have been fans of the Disney movie for years and then recently saw a touring production of Anastasia and fell in love with that as well. My 16-year old got this for Christmas and loves it. (She actually got it from two people and one had to return--Amazon happily complied--yay Amazon). She uses it to play piano with it, violin, or voice. Really great!

Review: Es cierto que vienen muchas canciones, pero no están todas. Y una de ellas está acortada, no está entera. El esto está muy bien editado.
