Title: I Have the Book, Now It's Time to Go Back to Visit!
Review: Neither my husband nor I are strangers to the Windy City (we even spent our honeymoon there!), but oh how I wish "100 Things To Do In Chicago Before you Die" had been out in print when we were there! I was totally impressed with the locations, research, and details in this book - not so many that you are overwhelmed and don't know where to start, but not too few that you're left wondering why you bought it.Although not a fan of most travel books (they go out of date so quickly - you know the kind), this book is worth every penny as it focuses more on city icons that have been around for years, and are sure to be there whenever you visit. Whether you have a planned trip on the calendar, you're just dreaming about the future, or you have lived there for years and think you know it all, you'll want to pick up a copy of this book for reference. I found myself thinking, "Gosh, I wish I had one of these for all the places on my bucket list!"Other potential audiences for "100 Places"...* College students in or around the Chicago area (they'll love the list of FREE activities if they were as poor as we were as students!)* House warming gift for a newly arrived Chicago resident* A friend planning a family vacation or road trip that will take them through the city for a day or two

Title: High Recommend-Very Useful Resource
Review: I use the two books "100 Things to Do in Illinois Before You Die" and "100 Things to Do in Chicago Before You Die" as useful tools for my personal bucket list. The books' bucket list items are categorized and indexed, and there is a "suggested itineraries" section. High recommend.

Title: A Vibrant Guide to Chicago
Review: I have been to Chicago several times, and it is one of my favorite cities to visit. After reading 100 Things to Do In Chicago Before You Die by Molly Page, I realize I have just scratched the surface of the beauty and vibrance of Chicago. The book is very well-written with a strong dash of fun throughout. The suggested itineraries at the end, along with the seasonal suggestions, the book is the new go-to guide for anyone visiting Chicago for a day, three days, or diving in to experience all 100 things! Looking forward to getting back to Chicago very soon.

Title: O.K.
Review: This book does what it says it does but there is so much more it could have done. It is very bare bones with information, only providing a paragraph or two in most cases about the subject. I bought this book and my wife bought a Fommer's guide for Chicago, and the Frommer's guide is hands down the better book. This book is a good starting point but you really need to do more research about the 100 suggestions before deciding what is best for your family to visit and do in in Chicago in my opinion.

Title: Great for Visitors and Locals
Review: As a Chicagoan, I was pleased with this fun and informative resource for exploring Chicago. It balances Chicago icons, like deep dish and Wrigley Field, with lesser-known local favorites. I was impressed with the breadth of neighborhoods represented, from Devon Avenue on the North Side down to 95th Street. The tips are organized in five categories: Food and Drink, Music and Entertainment, Culture and History, Sports and Recreation, and Shopping and Fashion. Page also provides suggested itineraries like “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth." '100 Things to Do in Chicago Before You Die' is a great travel guide for Chicago visitors and residents alike.

Review: Easy read, plain spoken yet very informative on the Chicago experience. We lived there for a few years and loved so many of the "flavors" of that great city captured and then shared by the author. A book easily put down yet anxiously re-opened for yet another taste.Thank you, Molly Page.

Title: Great Urban Adventure Handbook!
Review: What fun! Ms. Page does a great job of laying out so many of the activities that make Chicago a great place to live or visit. I've been exploring Chicago for several years and she yet she has managed to give me activities that I still haven't done. Part treasure hunt and part itinerary, this handy sized companion tour book will take you off the "touristy" path and into an enthralling urban adventure. This is a wonderful gift for a Chicago transplant or a Chicago native.
