Title: Simple Italian Done Right. Bene!
Review: This is a brilliant little book - perfect for new chefs trying to get into the cooking/baking world! The book features many traditional recipes in a clear, concise, and easy-to-read manner. It's very accessible to those not familiar with any of the terminology, know-how, or techniques as well! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who feels like they're just not good at cooking, or to someone young who wants to start learning and doing things for themselves! I've got the Kindle version downloaded, and I plan on using this to help some of the littler ones get started :DBetter yet, the recipes are pretty great of their own merit! In simplifying the recipes, Mario Mazzo definitely never watered down any of these classics! Italian cooking is a lot like engineering - less is definitely more, and the author is spot-on in delivering a good, simple recipe that can be added onto later at the chef's discretion.Overall, the cookbook is simple, good, and perfect for anyone either as a quick reference or as an introduction to the fine art of Italian cooking.Pros - - Simple English - Good instructions - Good recipesCons - - At the price point, I'm not sure I can point out a single flaw!

Title: A good book for novice cooks - 12 chapters of introductory material
Review: The book contains 20 recipes and starts with 12 chapters of introductory material about common abbreviations, recipe equivalents, conversions between metric and American measurements, and so forth. The recipes are varied from chicken Parmesan, eggplant Parmesan, several pizzas, pastas and 7 desert recipes.Book organization: the recipes are very detailed and each spans many pages(3 or 4 pages is typical). The recipes specify the level of complexity, and how many people they will feed. However, they do not have no pictures of completed dish and no caloric information for each recipe. The many introductory sections and the detailed explanations in each recipe make it a good book for novice cooks.Ali Julia review

Title: Great Italian Cookbook!
Review: This inexpensive Italian Cookbook is really nice. It starts out with an introduction to the book, a bit about the author, kitchen safety tips, recipe abbreviations, recipe equivalents which come in handy, cooking conversion. The reader learns about using quality ingredients, cheese tips and more. Learning about what flours to use for what, the different yeasts. Plus, which in my mind is very important is the different kinds of pasta and cooking times. The best tomato sauces are important too in any great Italian dish. The recipes include pizza's, chicken recipes, meat recipes and even a few dessert recipes. If you are looking for a great Italian recipe, this book will give you a great start for that perfect meal. No complicated instructions to follow. Servings, cooking level and instructions. A perfect cookbook! This review is done strictly voluntarily and thoughts are my own.

Title: Add some candles a bottle of wine and enjoy
Review: Amazing and full of tips. I have not tried the recipes yet but can tell it will become my favorite cookbook. It gives you tips on the best ingredients, for instance olive oil and cheese. The recipes for making pizza crust sound amazing. It is written in easy to understand language for those who are not used to using fresh ingredients. Looks like quality restraurant foods without the expensive price. Imagine the surprise and delight of your family when they sit down to a yummy meal that you prepared yourself. So add some candles, a bottle of wine and enjoy.

Title: Italian Classics Cookbook
Review: Lots of good tips and advice along with 20 classic recipes make for a wonderful cookbook. The writing is easy going and doesn't make assumptions that you are a master chef. The basics of making the dough for the pasta are clear and easy to follow, for example. I wanted to just start cooking from the beginning and not stop until I had tried all of the recipes in one night. I highly recommend it.

Title: Authentic Italian Recipes in a extremely easy read format.
Review: This is a great book if you are just learning to cook. The instructions are simple and fool proof. The detail would help anyone cook Italian food, especially if it's one of your first meals cooked and you want to impress someone. With just twenty recipes, the book is filled with too much writting of basic knowledge. The egg plant parmesan looked very much like my mother's so to me, Mario definitely has Italian recipes and I would say, most all look delicious. If you are a beginner, or know someone who is just starting to cook, get this book for them. Unfortunately with e-books, many people who collect cookbooks and have sticky notes sticking out for favorite recipes, this won't work. Many people like photos to see how meal will (or should) look. I compliment Mario for making this an easy to read and follow cookbook, but to me, and it's just my opinion, I found it having too much filling of needless material. But, I would not hesitate to purchase this for some one just learning to cook. This just was not for me.

Title: The Italian Classics Cookbook
Review: Very good recipes. Some are for authentic Italian food, some are geared more towards American/Italian. I know one can get recipes anywhere, but what impressed me about this cookbook was the massive amount of tips and advice at the beginning. I've cooked Italian food for over 20 years now, and I learned a LOT of stuff. Not only does Mario Mazzo give different tips on how to handle pasta/sauce for different flavors, he also gives recommendations on what brands/types of cheese, tomatoes, flours, oils and breaks it all down. I'll be using his advice when shopping for my next Italian food binge. Well worth the read.

Title: Perfect Italian cookbook!
Review: Exactly what I have been looking for...perfect meatless sauce. Such a fun read too. Mario has a lot of personality. You can tell that he really loves to cook. Plenty of Italian favorites from salad to desert. Easy to find ingredients and clear directions. Some cookbooks are overwhelming with the number of recipes to chose from, this little cookbook has all of the favorites that most of us would ever need.

Review: "Stop Crying For Pictures" says the author and unfortunately he is 100% WRONG! This book is actually useless. Very bad format, no styling at all - it is like it was printed by a manually typed text. I can do a better job for just an hour. The site where the photos are available (because the author has made the decision to use the cheapest print available on the market) is also absolutely useless - no structure. just plain HTML5 with no logical navigation, The photos on the site are dumped in a page - good look finding the recipe form the book and match it with the photo from the site.So again - this must be the most useless cookbook ever.
