Title: It works right out of the box with Windows 11. Rare for External drives
Review: I bought a Roofull some time ago for my desktop windows 11 unit. It never worked no matter how I tweaked it. (I have heard multiple others with the same complaint about many drives) finally got a Window 11 laptop and it works there but the drag and drop is cumbersome at best. NOW to this one. INSTANT success with the Windows 11 desktop. Recognized instantly and drag and drop works just like a USB. Perfect. It seems that it is not the programming of these that is at issue. It is the brand.

Title: Don't be suckered by low price...I was and got JUNK
Review: Looks ok and easy to attach to my pc....that's as good as it gets. The thing stops in the middle of use....no reason...it simply stops. First disc worked fine....2nd, 3rd & 4th either stopped or simply would not begin; wasn't even recognizing the discs. Tried the discs on a different drive and the discs were all good.l Tried on several different discs and stopped midway on each one, but would play on different drive. I bought 3 due to low price and am returning all 3 today. I will spend whatever it takes to get another external drive that actually works.

Title: Well built, quiet and quick
Review: This is a nice low profile drive that will easily fit into the side pocket of a laptop carry bag since laptops no longer come with drives. Much sturdier than I anticipated for the price as well as quiet as most drives tend to make a lot of noise while operating. Plugged into a USB 3.0 slot and it transfer data quickly. I have just enough old software on disk that I needed to invest in one of these for my new laptop (PC) and I believe I made the right choice.

Title: Great Way to Send Add a Writable Disk to a Workstation
Review: I had an X-ray and MRI done and needed to share the results, from one physician's office to the other. When I picked up the images from the hospital, The only way that they would give them to me was using a DVD. So it became essential for me to purchase this to actually make a copy onto my thumb drive so that I could take them with me in a secure format was not going to be subject to corruption.The item was truly plug and play, and windows 11 already has all of the software needed so that i could just copy or burn the media take with me. Since I already had a huge pile of unused DVD+R that haven't been touched in four years, i thought i would make a copy from for myself in the event that i ever have to share these again.For the price, this is a definite recommend as I can pop it into the case that was provided with it and take it with me wherever I go.

Title: Works as expected
Review: Bought this CD-ROM drive to view files on a CD. The drive woked great. It was simple to plug it into a USB port on my laptop and have Windows recognize it automatically and access it. Same with using it on a MacBook. Since I needed it to just read a single CD, I can't comment on how it might work with other CDs or how long it will work for in general. But, fir my purposes, it did the job. And you can't really beat the price.

Title: It does what it is suppose to do
Review: I recently bought a new laptop and as you may know the new laptops do not come with a DVD drive inside them. SO the purpose of this very low cost drive was to move legacy apps and data from old to the new.It does provide what I needed for a very little cost.
